I've been really touched that so many people have made contact by email, messenger etc. it’s been a real joy presenting Rambling Folk and it’s wonderful to know that so many people have enjoyed listening. The Final Ramble!

That’s right my Folkie Friends, this week's show is my final ramble through the world of folk music.

I’ll bring you many of the fantastic independent artists I've featured over my time behind the mic. Kinnaber Junction, Miller & O'Neill, Rhuari "slow for a poet" Campbell, Davy Lees, Journey North, Rob Griffith Music, Falkirk Piping & Glenbervie Folk Duo. BG McDaid and Garbh Uisge all make the playlist.

There will also be classic tracks from the likes of Archie Fisher, Christy Moore, Planxty, Kate Rusby, Kris Drever, Ralph McTell and Ossian.

The final featured artists on the show will be local alt folk duo, Midnightwildband. I’ll be playing you a couple of tracks from their debut EP ‘One More Thing’
