THEY DID IT!!!!

& completed the National 3 peaks in 3 days to raise funds for & to honour Destiny Dave!! He is missed EVERY day & the lads thought of him for every step!

Over 3 intense days, they:
🚶 Walked 23 miles
⛰️ Climbed 3,064 metres
🚗 Drove 462 miles

They summited Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) – the highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales – and they're proud to say they've mashed their fundraising goal.

Last week, we said our final goodbye to our beloved friend and Bigger Movie Pod presenter, Dave, surrounded by his friends and family. The sun was shining, and the sky was a clear blue. Amid the sadness and tears, there was also love and laughter. Many people captured his sense of joy and happiness by wearing Christmas jumpers to his eternal farewell, something we’re sure would have made him smile.

Which brings us to our show. Dave loved the podcast long before he became a mainstay on the team. He told us to continue the show after he passed, but we told him it was something we couldn’t imagine doing without him. We wanted our final episode to be all of us together, one last time. To end the show on our terms, before that choice was no longer ours to make.

Now that the dust has begun to settle, we realise we still have a choice. And that choice is to put on a brave face and finish the show, just as we agreed with Dave. He saw the original running order for the last episode, and it is our honour to celebrate and pay tribute to our dearly loved friend, Dave.

Get ready! D is for Destiny Dave is coming soon!

(P.S. He would have definitely referred to that last sentence with three letters: S.T.N.!)

It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend, "Destiny" Dave Christian.

You don’t meet many people like him in a lifetime. He was love, he was sunshine, and he was rainbows. The kind of person who always put others first, who saw beauty and kindness where the world saw none.

We're better people for having known him, and it pains us to see somebody full of light endure such a cruel journey.

Rest in power, Dave. You often found strength in your weakest moments, always giving everything to the ones you loved. We're so thankful for all the laughs, the support, and the love you shared. You made a difference to us and so many others.

While we didn't get to end the show on our terms, we did share the script for the final show with him and he got to see some of the messages that you sent in to us.

He died knowing how dearly loved he was by us. By his family that he was so proud of and dotted upon, by his friends and by you, the listener.

Dave was the moral compass of the show, and it's heart and soul.

Our thoughts go out to Dave's family and friends.

We will miss you dearly. We love you 3000. Thank you for everything. 💔🌈
