She’s on international business 🇳🇱💃💼✈️ I was lucky enough to attend a conference in Amsterdam last week so please excuse all the canal photos and selfies. It was rather fun. Discovered that I have finally matured enough to appreciate art museums and I *think* my small talk skills are improving. It was also pretty wild staying in a 5 star hotel after spending 6 months in hostel dorms, what a contrast haha

Family getaway to the New Forest 🍂🌲🪵🍁🐾🐴 with all the autumn vibes! And a vast improvement on my last trip to the New Forest when I came home from the rainiest year 8 camp caked in mud with a slug in my shoe 😂

Quadruple Qualification Drinks! The four of us qualified as ACTUARIES in the last year which felt like a very good excuse to throw a party in the City. Wine, canapés, churros, what more could you want?

I’m super proud of us all for making it through the actuarial exams and it was so lovely to finally celebrate together with colleagues and friends. Cheers to no more study stress and adding event-planning to our CVs 🥂

One whole chaotic week of Buster being my shadow (my parents are on holiday so the dog came to stay) 🐾🫶 this post is an accurate reflection of my camera roll right now…

Here’s what we got up to:
• walks, so many walks
• ball games on Jesus Green
• housewarming party in London (best believe Buster greeted all the guests)
• worked from home
• watched Friends on Netflix
• picked up a clothes online order (shout out Mango for being dog friendly)
• went to the car repair shop

…which brings me on to the mishaps of the week (swipe to end):
• Car exhaust broke on the way to London, something about a silencer? Sounded like I was flooring the accelerator in a race car and there was a whole lot of clanging. Buster helped secure a discount on the repair (true story) 🚘
• Smashed up the back of my phone after it fell out my pocket when I was trying to put the lead on a very excitable Buster. It literally had a case on it so I feel quite let down📱
• Dropped my spare house key while out on a dog walk. Later found a key buried in the living room rug which *might* be the lost key (or could equally be a different spare key, I have multiple 🤦‍♀️🔑)

Another London day in my busiest week since I returned from sabbatical 🐝🏙️🚂 to-do list is getting out of hand, meetings are coming out of my ears and I’m being trusted with more responsibility these days (perks of being qualified)… but I’m on it!

Okay I officially love Slovenia 🇸🇮 lake swimming, hiking, scrummy pastries, bridges with dragons, mountains and gorges - what more could you want!!

Reunited with Cambridge friends and unboxing the Switch 2 (which was very very kindly - we love you 🥹). Watch until the end to see me win a Mario Kart race for maybe the first time ever against these guys, big moment!!!
