"Caleb sat in his garden chair thinking about summer that had come and gone... Summer had just rusted away. 'Where did the summer go?' he wondered." ✨
We absolutely love the poetic way 𝑬𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒃 by Karen Hottois and Delphine Renon (beautifully translated by Sarah Ardizzone) captures those hard-to-explain, quiet feelings. The changing seasons perfectly mirror our shifting, sometimes complex emotions. It is a mindful, tender exploration of how we navigate change. ☕️🦊

Let's make getting ready for school a joyful experience! With 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚, 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚, 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍!, preparation is all about play.
Here are a few fun ideas to try before the big day! 📚✨

𝗣𝗼𝗺𝗣𝗼𝗺'𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗙𝘂𝗻 🎒
What to do: Look at PomPom's backpack in the book. What do you think PomPom carries? Find some of your own favourite things (like a small toy, a special book, or a snack) and practise putting them in your backpack. Zip it up! Now, can you take them out?
Bonus: Talk about what PomPom might do with each item at school.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆, 𝗦𝗮𝗱, 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 😄😔🤪
What to do: Look at the animals in their different schools. Point to an animal and ask, "How do you think this animal feels?"
Bonus: Ask, "What makes you feel happy when you think about school?"

𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 🔢
What to do: Pick a page. Try counting all the cheese in the mice school! How about the books? Or the pencils?
Bonus: "Are there more blue things or red things on this page?"

To mark the 7th anniversary of Jayde Perkin’s beautiful book, Mum’s Jumper, we wanted to take you behind the scenes into the making process.
Swipe through to see how her early sketchbook ideas evolved and how the main character was developed. ✨

It is hard to believe that seven years have passed since we first published 𝙈𝒖𝙢'𝙨 𝙅𝒖𝙢𝒑𝙚𝒓 by Jayde Perkin. 📚❤️
When we first read Jayde’s story about a child trying to navigate the world after losing her mum, we knew it was a masterpiece of visual empathy, gently reminding us that it’s okay to feel sad and that love never truly leaves us.
It has become one of our most treasured titles, embraced by thousands of readers around the world. In fact, 𝙈𝒖𝙢'𝙨 𝙅𝒖𝙢𝒑𝙚𝒓 has been translated into 13 languages so far, and counting!
To mark this milestone 7th anniversary, we’ve given this special book a brand-new edition featuring a striking stripe of yellow on the cover.✨💫

One book. Two incredible journeys. 🐇✨🌟
We are thrilled to announce the hardcover edition of 𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙡𝙮 / 𝙍𝙪𝙣, 𝙍𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙞𝙩, 𝙍𝙪𝙣! by Bernardo Carvalho.
Have you ever seen a picture book with two titles and two covers that can be read from back to front? 🔄
Follow the Firefly in his search for a flashing light, and turn the book over to find the second storyline about Rabbit’s grand escape. This wordless picture book opens up wonderful opportunities for young readers to invent their own story every time they open the book. 🎨📖
