Recently an old work colleague of mine passed away from a brain tumour. It made me stop and think about how many people we lose to cancer, and how many times we grieve for those we love. 💛

With over 200 different types of cancer, research is vital.

So, I’m running 10 days of 5km to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I’m 3 runs in already and hoping to exceed my target distance along the way. 🏃‍♀️

Currently in London for a media training course and the architecture immediately struck me as so industrial and full of character — exposed brick, arched windows, that solid warehouse feel.

So I asked our trainer. He told me these buildings used to be warehouses storing spices and other goods. He was actually a photographer and said that back in the 80s he used to sneak in through a broken window to take photos inside. Apparently, you could still smell the spices lingering in the air.
