One of our authors Prof. David Nutt was mentioned in this article this week, in relation to the science-led drugs charity he founded, and the medical trial to take place on treating long-covid. David is the author of DRUGS WITHOUT THE HOT AIR - MAKING SENSE OF LEGAL AND ILLEGAL DRUGS https://www.uit.co.uk/all-books/drugs-without-the-hot-air

The trial is being run by charity Drug Science and if initial results prove encouraging, it will be scaled up to a large UK clinical trial. Around 30 patients suffering with lasting symptoms will be enrolled via participating GPs
