📢 Call for Papers | Parasitology is pleased to announce a forthcoming Special Issue on Vector-borne Parasitic Diseases in China and Asia, now open for submissions.

Vector-borne parasitic diseases remain a major public health challenge across the region. From leishmaniasis carried by sandflies, to babesiasis via ticks, clonorchiasis and paragonimiasis linked to freshwater snails and fish, and the growing threats of drug resistance and climate-driven vector spread, the urgency for new insights has never been greater.

This Special Issue will bring together cutting-edge research on:
✔️ Epidemiology & diagnostics
✔️ Treatment strategies & drug resistance
✔️ Vector biology, surveillance & control
✔️ Genomic approaches & gene-editing technologies
✔️ Socioeconomic & environmental determinants
✔️ One Health & multidisciplinary perspectives

By bridging research and implementation, this issue aims to strengthen public health in China and Asia while fostering global collaboration on vector-borne parasitic diseases.
