General Photography from The Gather The Gather Photography specialises in Rural Events - sheepdog trialling, field sports, equine events

We are two person team who provide photographic coverage of rural events - sheepdog trials, field sports - any rural events. We travel with a large, converted horse trailer that provides our accommodation, a place for the sheepdogs (when they are with us - one of us trials) and a shop/viewing area. Prints are available on the day as are royalty free digital files - enlargements and other merchandise via our website.

East Kent Ride galleries of Section 2 from the start to 11:30 are now on our website www.thegather.net.
Sadly broadband is slower than ever and each gallery is taking an hour and a half to upload. Another gallery will be added at lunchtime and, hopefully all will be done by tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.

Apologies that it is taking so long to upload photographs from the East Kent Ride. The Gather "shoot" in a format known as RAW which means the images are the very best we can manage but each one has to be electronically "developed". This process can take from 20 seconds to a few minutes. 1,700 images have to be sorted through, the best processed this way and then, with the delights of rural broadband, a gallery of 60 images can take an hour and a half to upload.

Long time no post! The Gather, well 50%, was at the East Kent Ride today and managed to photograph all but about 12 riders at Section 2.
Photographs will be edited as quickly as possible and a sample posted here.
