If you are a student at the University of Kent, you are welcome to join InQuire at any time. To become a writer, photographer, IT assistant,

etc., all you have to do is buy your membership (£5) on the Kent union website: http://www.kentunion.co.uk/studentmedia/inquire/

Once you've purchased your membership, you can request to join the InQuire Facebook group: InQuire Members 2022/23. We meet every Monday at 6:15 to pitch article ideas for each section of the paper. We have the published newspaper and a website (inquiremedia.org), and for both we have nine sections: News, Opinion, Lifestyle, Features, Satire, Entertainment, Science and Tech, Culture and Sport. If you cannot make the meetings, or didn't get a chance to pick up any articles, leftover article ideas are put up on the InQuire Members Facebook group page. From here you can contact the appropriate editor and offer to write an article for them or you are welcome to suggest your own article idea for you to write. http://www.kentunion.co.uk/studentmedia/inquire/

Meet Grace, a third year student studying English Literature and Creative Writing, whose passion for words has brought her to InQuire.

For Grace, joining InQuire means being part of “a space where words matter; where student voice shapes campus experience and conversation.”

She sees writing as more than just expression. It is a way to “bridge solitude and community,” and an art form where rhythm, imagery, and flow create something sharp and beautiful.
