Meet Tara Lynch 🖌️

Tara Lynch ( )is an Irish illustrator, based in Dublin. She considers Illustration to be her primary focus but also has a great interest in printmaking. Creating textured and unique pieces, she is inspired by the nuances of everyday life, with her work always having an origin in observational drawings. Filling sketchbooks with fleeting moments, Tara enjoys balancing opposing qualities in her work, flipping between painterly strokes and graphic line drawings.

Meet Zhenyi Zheng ( ) an illustrator and visual designer based in London.

She graduated from Royal College of Art in 2021. She draws from memory, observation and imagination to tell stories about internalised and externalised experiences of today.

By using drawing, making and photography, she loves to capture life details from unspoken objects, spaces and movements that people sometimes ignore. Her illustrations try to convey a poetic-dreamy feeling but depict with an objective tone and sober perspective. Existing in a place between reality and fiction. As a multi-disciplinary practitioner, her practice includes Illustration, painting, comics, self-publication, graphic design and toy design.

For this reason we'd like to open a little call to celebrate pride and give exposure to all artists from the LGBTQIA+ community!

Submit a piece of art/writing which depicts acceptance, tolerance, equality and free love.

Since the very beginning, when we came up with the concept for this issue, we had this specific idea spinningvisual ideas we wanted to include in this edition was a repurposed text, a new poem made by eliminating some parts of a text. Et voilà...

…..we found Clare's work.

Clare Olivares is a California painter and poet living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her poems have been published in small literary journals and she has exhibited her artworks nationally and internationally. Her work is contemplative highlighting the poetics of place and the beauty of the ordinary. She holds an undergraduate degree in medieval studies from UC Berkeley and a master's degree in painting from Mills College, Oakland, CA.

DATI (pronounced DA-TEE), meaning ‘Good on You’ in Welsh, focuses on reworking hand-picked vintage clothing and second-hand finds with ethically sourced fabrics. In addition, they create custom zero-waste garments and upcycled collections designed for everyone who wears their brand to feel good, do good, and ooze style and confidence!
