🩺GO WITH THE FLOW🩺

Infiniti Healthcare is the longest-standing women’s healthcare dedicated clinic in . Founded by gynaecologists Nadia and Kiron Bhal in 2013, Infiniti Healthcare prides itself on delivering an outstanding standard of care for .

The couple have more than 50 years of women’s health experience between them, being strongly passionate about pelvic and midlife health and how it connects to women’s overall and .

Kiron and Nadia are renowned for their non-judgemental approach, ensuring patients feel comfortable and empowered to make choices about their well-being. We recently caught up with Nadia to find out more about the services offered at Infiniti. Here’s what she had to say:

What’s the most common problem that you treat?
At Infiniti, we often see women seeking support for menopause-related issues, bladder symptoms or prolapse. We also help many women who just need a thorough assessment or are struggling with conditions like heavy periods. More recently we are seeing more women from all over the UK with Childbirth related trauma and Vaginismus. No matter what brings a woman to us, we’re here to provide compassionate care every step of the way.

How do you put patients’ minds at ease when faced with intimate area treatments?
We completely understand that intimate treatments can sometimes feel daunting. That’s why we make it a priority to create a warm, respectful, and confidential space where you can feel safe and heard. Before any treatment, we’ll take the time to explain everything clearly, answer any questions, and let patients set the pace.

Women in our care are always in control; we offer chaperones and make sure privacy is respected. Trust and empathy are at the heart of what we do, and we want women to feel completely comfortable with every step of their journey with Infiniti Healthcare.

What are the top 3 things you wish your patients knew before coming to see you?
First, it’s totally okay to be open and honest about all symptoms —even the ones that might feel embarrassing. The more we know, the more we can help, there’s nothing to feel shy about.

Many gynaecological issues are actually very common and treatable, so please know that you’re not alone and there may be simple solutions.

You have every right to ask questions and be involved in making decisions about your care. We want to make sure you feel empowered and fully informed!

What’s the most common misconception about your job role?
A lot of people think gynaecologists are just focused on pregnancy or fertility, but we actually cover a wide range of women’s health needs across all stages of life. I also feel that sometimes people think that Consultants are rushed or stand offish, but I would like to think that our patients who know us will say that we are far away from this misbelief. We love meeting our patients, hearing their stories and then helping them as best as we can.

If your treatments are available on the NHS, why should patients choose Infiniti instead?
While NHS care is truly amazing, we understand it can sometimes come with longer wait times and limited choice of practitioner.

At Infiniti, we offer personalised, one-on-one care with shorter waits and more flexible appointments. We take the time to truly listen — to both what is said and unsaid — allowing us to know our patients and build a continuous relationship, providing tailored support and treatment.

What do you think is the main reason women don’t seek help for their gynaecological issues?
It’s so common for women to push through pain and discomfort, thinking it’s just something we have to endure. Many women feel embarrassed or unsure about talking openly about intimate health issues, so they end up just “carrying on” and hoping things will get better on their own.

There’s also a sense that these struggles are somehow normal or just part of being a woman, but that doesn’t mean they should be ignored. Unfortunately, this mindset can delay getting the help women need, but we want you to know—you don’t have to carry on in silence. Help is out there, and it’s okay to seek support.

Do you think that when a woman talks to a female doctor they feel like they are a lot more understanding and sympathetic compared to when a woman talks to a male doctor about these types of problems?
It’s very natural for women to feel more at ease talking to another woman about intimate health concerns, simply because there’s a sense of shared understanding. Often, women feel that female clinicians might “just get it” more, because they may have had similar experiences and I have seen this preference many times throughout my career.

I have also come across women who have had an unsympathetic experience with a female clinician and have felt belittled, unsupported or patronised. This is something that I would pray none of our patients would ever experience under our care.

When it comes to Kiron, my husband, one of the first things that attracted me to him was his kindness and respect for women. He is well known for his gentleness and exceptional ability to connect with his patients, regardless of condition or age. His professionalism and empathy help put anyone at ease, and he’s committed to making every patient feel heard and understood, no matter what.

So, if you are suffering with any type of pelvic health problem, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Dr Nadia Hikary-Bhal.
