When I started taking Liminal magic seriously, all the liminal deities came out in force 😂

So naturally, I obliged and began working more closely with them.

Liminal deities will aid you on your Liminal magic quest so well. My own practice definitely went up a few notches when I did this.

Yule is upon us once more 👇🏼

The beauty of this time of the year is that most people, whether they are witches, pagans, or Christians generally do Yule things, so if you're new to the Wheel of the Year and the Sabbats, this is a great one to start with.

🌲 Most of the things you do to celebrate Christmas are actually variations of pagan Yule traditions, so why not combine the two celebrations into one?

Practising Liminal magic isn't complicated 👇🏼

It's actually really intuitive, and it's absolutely something you can train yourself to do. You don't have to be an expert, and we each have our own journey when it comes to liminal magic and witchcraft.

🌀 But it doesn't help to have some inspiration, especially if you're new to this path. So try some of these things out and see how you get on.

How to practice Liminal magic:

🏹 DIVINATION
🏹 RITUAL IN LIMINAL SPACE
🏹 WORKING WITH LIMINAL DEITIES
🏹 PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS
🏹 MEDITATION
🏹 JOURNALING

These are just some basic examples, and there is a lot more nuance to being a liminal witch or practitioner, but generally, it's difficult to get this particular form of witchcraft wrong.

All witches and occult practitioners work with Liminality in some way, shape, or form. Even if they aren't aware of it.

Liminal Deities exist everywhere 👇🏼

While I have included Celtic and Greek examples mainly in this list, that is just because they are deities and figures I work with myself. Liminal deities exist throughout all cultures and mythologies, from all corners of the world.

🌀 What makes a deity a liminal figurehead is usually one the aspects of life and the universe they govern, such as transitions, water, thresholds, boundaries, transformation, and even rebirth.

If you are looking to practice and amplify Liminal magic for yourself, the deities I have included in this list are great to get you started.

Remember- liminality is all about thresholds, boundaries, transitions, transformation, and the in-between, something you will soon realise that ALL of these deities have in common.

This month's ritual hit different 👇🏼

Not only did I learn more about Myrddin (Merlin) than I have in a lifetime, but I was guided by him under the powerful flame of Sagittarius to release what is holding me back from my own expansion.

🪄 And boy, did that come with this month's ritual. I feel a new sense of self and I can feel the effects already. Something big, something transformational is about to happen.

Merlin has been seen as a powerful wizard for centuries, but he is so much more. He is a guiding force in the transformational magic of wild things and wild places. We must step away from the things we know and into the wilderness in order to evolve and expand our own belief systems.

This ritual has opened so much within me, and has been incredibly insightful into the archetype and character of Myrddin (Merlin). I intend to work even deeper with him going forward.

Disconnection is tough 👇🏼

We all feel it. And when we walk the path of the witch, the mystic, or the druid, feeling that disconnect can be devastating.

🌀 But here's something to remember:

Human beings ARE nature. Just as much as the rushing rivers, the mighty mountains, and the animals big and small.

You can be right in the middle of a densely populated city, concrete for miles around, and you are STILL a part of nature. Nature experiences itself through us just as legitimately as it does in more 'natural' biomes.

I find it helpful to turn to animism when I'm feeling the disconnect. Everything is connected, even the technology and the things we may find 'anti-nature'.

🌸 So when you feel that disconnect, remember what you are.
YOU ARE NATURE.
No matter where you are or what you are doing.

And because you are nature, you are MAGIC.

Liminality completely changed my perspective 👇🏼

I feel like a lot of these things I already knew, but wasn't ready to accept. It was because of liminality that I was able to advance on my own journey. 

🌀 As a liminal witch, I work between things- between worlds, between phases. I seek out thin places to amplify my magic and I work with these spaces to amplify their power and heal these pockets of inexplicable phenomena. 

It was High Strangeness that really forced me to look at liminality as more than just an internet aesthetic. I delved deep and discovered so much about it and so much about myself. It's the first path I have gone down magically that really feels like where I should be. 

It all clicks. 

🔮 As witches, we all work with liminality in some way, shape, or form, and liminal witchcraft is all about working with this phenomena at the front and center of your craft.
