Just another Cymru mystery 👇🏻

The Bleeding Yew of Nevern can be found in the village of the same name in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

While yews 'bleeding' isn't that strange, what makes this yew tree stand out is the distinct colour of the sap and the fact that it has been bleeding for as long as anyone can remember- and this tree is around 700 years old!

Over the years, this yew tree has of course built up folklore and stories as to the reason WHY it is happening, and I'm sure the stories will persist for many more centuries to come.

Why do you think The Bleeding Yew of Nevern is so unique? What do you think is the cause for the sap's colour to be like blood?

Spirit spoke to me yesterday 👇🏻

Nestled between the mountains and the sea, in a deep sound bath and meditation, a weekend of magical space held by spirit came to me and gave me a mission.

It repeated the words over and over so I wouldn't forget.
So I'd remember to write them down and imprint them into my very being.

I went to this retreat to capture content, and I've left with something I never expected to receive.

This weekend I was being initiated by spirit.

It saw me get out of my comfort zone in ways I never have before and it recognised it.
I was initiated deeper into my soul's mission.

This was just the first step, now the work begins.

I will share the mission, the quest, with a few, but spirit was very clear that I didn't (and shouldn't) need to broadcast the specifics to everyone. It was clear that those who were meant to know, would know and I'd be able to share it with them. And I would recognise them. And they would recognise me.

I feel changed. Another step on the liminal journey I've found myself on. I feel scared, but also excited.

And I can't wait to go on this journey and find others along the way who are a part of it.

Thank you spirit for trusting me with this mission, this quest.
I hope I will do you proud 🙏🏼

Have you heard of the Welsh Atlantis? 👇🏼

Cantre’r Gwaelod is a legendary lost kingdom that is thought to have existed in the area now known as Cardigan Bay in Wales. It was believed to have rested on low-lying land, right next to the sea.

🌀 There is of course the arguement that it's geographical location simply meant it was on borrowed time before the rising sea levels claimed it into its depths, but there are countless legends and tales associated with the Welsh Atlantis.

If you were to visit Cardigan Bay now, when the tide is low, you would bare witness to the stunning scene of a petrified forest, made up of pine, alder, oak, and birch teas.

Beltane is almost upon us 👇🏼

One of the fire festivals, Beltane is one of the most liminal times of the year. It is a time when the veil between worlds is thin and the turning of the seasons can be fully felt.

Beltane is a Gaelic festival, and it marks the beginning of the summer. It is a time of fire, fertility, and abundance. Spring has sprung, and the days will only get lighter and warmer from here.

I tried everything 👇🏼

But nothing felt right until I found liminality and liminal magic.

I was wandering around for years, still practising witchcraft & spirituality, but nothing really felt right. Traditional witchcraft felt too rigid for me (that's what growing up Christian does to you), and even non-traditional witchcraft didn't feel right for the longest time.

Liminality did more than just anchor me, it changed my whole life.

I didn't feel lost anymore.
I finally felt like I had a purpose.

My infatuation with liminal spaces led me to greater appreciate my Welsh culture, heritage, and folklore (it's absolutely riddled with Liminality!).

I have always been able to commune with spirit, and the spirit of the place(s), but it was only when I fully embraced Liminality that it spoke to me in the CLEAREST voice to tell me what my path was.

And I've been striving to walk it ever since.

Liminality and liminal magic isn't for everyone. We all practice liminal magic to a degree, but for those of us on the fringes, it's a calling we can't ignore.

I love this trend 😂👇🏼

But seriously, liminality changed the game of life for me.

It unlocked everything:

🌀 Acceptance of change.
🌀 The magic of transitions.
🌀 Deeper access to my shadow.
🌀 More patience.
🌀 Less fear of the unknown.
🌀 Excitement in my craft again.
🌀 An even deeper respect for protection magic.
🌀 More ways to express myself creatively.
🌀 Connected me more to my local spirits and land.

Liminality and liminal magic did ALL of this. It unleashed me. Let me transform into someone more confident and powerful.

There's still a long way to go, but having liminality consciously alongside me let's me know that I'll be able to walk my path and always have guidance.

The lessons never stop, and why should they?
