The River As Archive 🌊 Dr Nasia Sarwar-Skuse brought us all together for this beautiful celebration of the Afon Taf last weekend and what a wonderful afternoon it was.

Storytelling, ecology, river blessings, poetry, and the coming together of people who all love this incredible river. It was a lovely Sunday.

🙏🏼 Thankful to have been given the opportunity to perform a river blessing for the Afon Taf with this collective of human beings. It was an honour to share the power of the voice with the river and so many people who love this river as much as I do.

🌀 Big love to The River Taff Collective as always. I'm so grateful to have met you all this year and become a unit who care for and celebrate the Taff together.

Some fresh ink, a little early birthday present from me to me 🙏🏼

28:06:42:12 - the countdown to the end of the world from Donnie Darko. It's been my favourite film since I was 14, and that hasn't really changed in the last almost two decades. I always said I'd get this tattooed, now I finally have.

The Strophalos - This has NOTHING to do with Hecate, let's clear that up straight away. For me, the Strophalos is a symbol of liminality and transformation. It's a labyrinth, a spiral journey- going in one entrance and coming out more intune with who you are. The labyrinth and spirals mean so much to me and have done even more in the last few years. It's been quite a journey for me since my Saturn Return a couple of years ago. Lots of change, lots of transformation, lots of relearning who I am and what I can be. As it's a symbol of liminality as well, how could I not? I've been wearing this on a necklace for years, but I've felt more than ready to take the plunge and get it permanently fixed onto my body.
