The story follows Jeff Henderson, a struggling podcaster who decides to stage a viral sensation by recreating the infamous 1938 Orson Welles radio drama "The War of the Worlds." He teams up with his hesitant buddy and an ambitious actress to pull off the ultimate hoax alien invasion. But as you can imagine, things quickly spiral hilariously out of control!

It's a fresh, funny tribute to H.G. Wells' legendary story, and if you’re into clever parodies and indie films, this is definitely one you don't want to miss.
