Sunstone’s glittery sparkle is known as Aventurinescence. ☀️

It’s caused by tiny reflective flakes of copper or hematite trapped inside the stone, bouncing light in every direction.
When moved under light, these inclusions shimmer like golden dust.

Seen here under the microscope — up to 400x — those reflective flakes shine like microscopic rainbow mirrors.
