Queen Victoria’s coronet at the V&A… honestly, what a piece. 💙
It’s so much smaller than you expect, but the detail is unreal. The sapphires have this beautiful rich blue, and the whole thing just feels royal even behind glass.

If you’re in London, go see it. It’s one of those jewels that looks good in photos but absolutely hits different in person.

Some websites have listed the Sapphires as Kite shapes but the more I look at them the more I think they are Coffin ⚰️ shape, what do you guys think?

The Marquise cut has one of the most romantic origin stories in diamond history. In 18th-century France, King Louis XV asked his court jewellers to create a diamond shape that matched the smile of his mistress, the Marquise de Pompadour — and that’s how this elongated, regal silhouette was born.

Today’s marquise has the same dramatic flair: long lines, elegant points, and unbeatable finger coverage. And this one? An absolute showstopper.

A perfect blend of royal history and modern brilliance — and easily one of the most striking marquise stones I’ve ever filmed.
