🏆 Congratulations to the Production Team behind Helmand: Tour of Duty!

We’re incredibly proud to see Helmand: Tour of Duty win the BAFTA Cymru Award for Single Documentary at tonight’s 2025 ceremony.

The documentary, which followed our Welsh Guardsmen during their deployment to Helmand Province in 2009, captured the reality, courage, and camaraderie of our soldiers with honesty and respect.

This award is a powerful acknowledgement of the film’s impact — not only as a piece of storytelling, but as a tribute to the men who served, those who stood beside them, and those who never returned home.

Congratulations once again to everyone involved in the production, and to our Guardsmen who took part. Your service and your stories continue to inspire us all.

The ‘boost’ is designed to help ambitious companies like ours strengthen our place in the industry and create more opportunities for creative talent.

We’re very grateful to Channel 4 for recognising the importance of Nations & Regions creativity and for investing in the future of independent producers outside London.
