It's been spoken about before, but also it's more prevalent now than ever.
Should we be using AI?
People are using it for all sorts:
· Meal Prepping
· As the new search tool
· Social media posts (this wasn't written with AI by the way)
· Creating Templates
· Dissecting bulks of information in rapid speed
· Data Analysis
· Storyboarding (Film Specific)
· Script writing
· Generative Fill
· AI voices
· AI Video
· Special Effects
We're still torn on where the line is. We use it for creating document templates and the odd social post and website analysis. We're perhaps using it in other ways, without even realising.
But, it feels wrong to potentially be taking jobs away, especially in the creative world. Is it only bad if you weren't going to be paying someone to do a job role anyway (ie. creating a social post yourself) rather than a task you would normally be paying someone for ie. Voice over Artist
There's also the cons of:
· Copyrights - AI learning from other people material
· Environmental - impact of high heat generating machines
· Less jobs
· Inaccurate information
· Brain Function - Not using your brain for critical thinking
Are people bothered about if AI is being used?
AI is here to stay, that's for sure, so do we need to get on the bandwagon and not be left behind?
Keen know what peoples thoughts are
· Do you use AI, if so what for? If not, why?
· Where do you draw the line on when it's unacceptable to use?
· Do you think clients/customers should be notified if AI is being utilised on them?
