π₯ͺ Big Mamma's Sandwich Club - Canton, Cardiff π₯ͺ
This past weekend I took a trip into Canton to try somewhere that's appeared on my feed a few times here on Instagram with their infectious smile and upbeat dancing, as well as great food, Big Mamma's Sandwich Club.
Situated opposite the Co-Op, the shop is very blink and you'll miss it, however the minute you enter, you're greeted by Ada's warm attitude, making you immediately part of the club. With all the fillings being homemade and looking delicious, it's hard to decide straight away so I recommend trying a few and listening to any recommendations.
On the menu this week: A Salt & Pepper roll, stuffed with mexican chicken (with beans), topped and toasted with cheese & salad and coleslaw.
I loved every bit of this sandwich, being stuffed to the brim meant I certainly didn't go hungry and I got to taste every layer of this lunchtime meal. The Mexican Chicken was seasoned perfectly, with a mixture of spice and creaminess to it that just soaked into the salt and pepper roll and mixed well with the cheese.
With options of different rolls, salad bowls or even rice bowls, there's something for anybody looking to upgrade their lunch. Also it's affordable, with my lovely lunch coming to under a tenner. It filled me up and had me not even thinking about dinner hours later. However I'd just go back for the great service from the Queen of Rock and Sandwich Rolls herself!
