I had the pleasure of popping down to Dough Thrower at Platform Street Food to get an early taste of their brand-new fully loaded bagels, officially launching TOMORROW! 🥯🔥

Now, I like to think of myself as a bit of a bagel connoisseur, regularly make my own at home, so I went in with pretty high expectations...

And I can confirm, these are genuinely BANGING.

The pastrami bagel in particular was unreal, Absolutely packed, ridiculously tasty and everything just worked together perfectly.

I’m not even usually a pickle fan, but in this? It completely made sense. 👌

Properly loaded, big flavours and definitely not shy on the fillings.

If you’re heading to Platform Street Food in Cardiff Bay, get these on your radar from tomorrow. 🥯👀

One of my favourite restaurants in Bridgend… 👀

📍 Brewery Field Street Food

Back down at what is easily one of my all-time favourite spots, not just in Bridgend, but full stop.

This time, I was trying some of their newer menu additions, including the ridiculously cheesy beef burger, salt and pepper bao buns and loaded quesadillas.

Of course, I also had to revisit a couple of old favourites with the beef birria tacos and pork carnitas tacos. 🌮

I genuinely love this place. 🫶

The biggest compliment I can give them is that, if I ever opened my own restaurant, this is exactly the kind of food I’d want to serve.

Big flavours, proper comfort food and a menu that never plays it safe.

As always, Brewery Field Street Food is an absolute must-visit! 👏

It’s been a long time coming…

I started this little food blog just over 6 years ago now, and I finally thought it was about time Wayne’s Eats had its own proper website.

And when I say I made it… I mean I did absolutely nothing. 😂

The brilliant team at co.room brought it all to life, and honestly, they absolutely nailed what I wanted. Super helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and they just got it from start to finish. 👏

So yes, www.wayneseats.com is now live! 👈

This small little blog has come a long way since I first started it during lockdown, and it still feels a bit surreal seeing it grow into what it is today.

I’ve got some big plans coming over the next few months, and this is just the start.

I’ve also had a surprisingly large number of requests for the famous Wayne’s Eats tees and hoodies, so they’ll be coming soon too… along with something else completely unique to go with them. 👀

For now though, WaynesEats.com is live and it’ll be updated regularly.

And because I’m always getting asked where I recommend, I’ve also added what I’m calling my Gold Standard section, where I’ll be listing the best of the best across different cuisines and categories.

Anyway, that’s enough waffle from me.
