🦆 Part Time Signals - Duck's Back 🦆
OUT TODAY / ALLAN HEDDIW

Duck’s Back is the third single from Part Time Signals’ upcoming album Duck’s Back, Baby. This song delivers an optimistic message with idiomatic lyrics, gently reminding the listener that it's okay to let go when life becomes a little too hectic. Water off a duck’s back, baby!

With layers of fluttering tape delays, whimsical keyboard solos and varispeed percussion, this song gleefully swims around the fishbowl of the mind and showcases the band’s more frivolous side. The album is available on Heavyweight Black Vinyl + CD and is out on November 6th.

OUT TODAY! / ALLAN HEDDIW!

Based in Cardiff, the band find inspiration in ordinary observations and experiences, balancing humour and melancholy with a distinctive, off-kilter approach to songwriting. Woven throughout the record are archival snippets exploring the history of Welsh mining, connecting its contemporary themes with Wales’ industrial and working history and providing a thread that runs through the album.

Mining Museum will be playing at The Gate, Cardiff, next Friday (09.10.26) supporting John MOuse. Get tickets here: https://www.gigantic.com/john-mouse-tickets/cardiff-the-gate/2026-10-09-19-00

❤️‍🔥 HMS Morris - Launderette (feat. Bright Light Bright Light ) ❤️‍🔥
OUT NOW / ALLAN NAWR

The third single from HMS Morris’ fourth album places us in a time of neon leg-warmers and financial futurism, when huge IOUs were signed and tomorrow was someone else’s problem. But you can’t live the 80s way for long without someone in place to scrub away your sins, to cow your critics and deal with your dirty laundry. Such a comprehensive service is rare indeed - and it fetches one hell of a price.

⛏️ Mining Museum - Get to Work ⛏️
New single OUT NOW

Mining Museum introduce themselves with ‘Get to Work’, the first single from their forthcoming self-titled debut album, released on 23 September.

Based in Cardiff, Mining Museum channel everyday observations, frustration and the pressures of modern life into songs that balance immediacy with a more reflective and melancholic edge.

Their first offering, ‘Get to Work’, is a direct introduction. Centred around the routines and frustrations of working life, the track explores the repetition of the everyday grind and the uneasy relationship between work, purpose and identity.

It provides the first glimpse into the wider world of Mining Museum, where the everyday sits alongside the surreal and familiar experiences are viewed from slightly unexpected angles.

‘Get to Work’ is the first track to be taken from Mining Museum’s self-titled debut album, released digitally and on cassette on 2 October 2026. Across twelve tracks, the album expands on these themes while incorporating archival snippets exploring the history of Welsh mining.
