Are you looking to create new connections with fellow filmmakers and creatives within the film and television industry? 🎬

Bulldozer Films are proud to partner with Ffilm Cymru Wales to sponsor the UK premiere screening of feature film; Mārama at Abertoir Horror Festival 2025, with an exclusive director’s Q&A session and networking social this November!

The Q&A, chaired by Abertoir co-director Nia Edwards-Behi, will explore Taratoa Stappard’s debut feature film, his filmmaking process, and will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have. This will then be followed by a networking reception; an opportunity to meet and connect with fellow filmmakers, film-lovers, producers, and creatives from different areas of the industry.

Each ticket includes a free drink to enjoy during the networking event and a free ticket to Simon Boswell: Live In Concert on Friday 14th November (worth £15)! 🥂

We are searching for actors to take part in the 2025 season of BFI Film Academy Short Courses across Wales! 🎬

The three short films will be shot over one day each, in Aberystwyth, Cardiff and Swansea, with all acting roles being paid, with travel expenses covered. This call is open to talent of all ages (above 18), based in Wales or South West England.

The BFI Film Academy Short Courses are an opportunity for young people to gain crew experience and insight into the filmmaking process.

Each member of the pre-selection panel will recieve 5-6 hours of content to watch and rate from the comfort of your home with a late October deadline.

Being a part of the pre-selection team entitles you to a free full festival pass and a named credit in the digital & physical festival brochures.

The festival (established in 2012), returns to Wales to celebrate the best up and coming filmmakers from around the world across nine categories, including two brand new categories premiering in 2026; Comedy and Music Video!
