We are so excited to announce that Bampi’s Soup has been shortlisted for the Chapter 2026 Q***r Film Prize! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

The short film led by Keith Allen and Mathew Pembridge-Hill, was created as part of the 2025 BFI Film Academy course in Aberystwyth with support from Aberystwyth University. A huge congratulations to all of our alumni who contributed to the project and to all of the other shortlisted work.

is currently seeking filmmakers and film enthusiasts with industry experience to join the pre-selection team!

Each member of the pre-selection panel will recieve 5-6 hours of content to watch and rate from the comfort of your home with a late 2026 deadline.

Being a part of the pre-selection team entitles you to a free full festival pass and a named credit in the digital & physical festival brochures.

On Sunday, Team Bulldozer headed to the It’s My Shout awards at the ICC to celebrate this year’s cohort of talent working on the Wales-based short film training scheme.

We are proud to support It’s My Shout, and through this partnership we were delighted to offer 20 of our BFI Film Academy alumni direct placements onto the scheme, enabling them to earn their first broadcast credits on BBC Cymru Wales and S4C .

A huge congratulations to all of the nominees and thank you for such a special evening! 💞
