What an amazing time we had at SPANC 2025! ✨🏆

We had a jam-packed weekend full of panel events, keynotes, workshops, and networking opportunities! And of course the National Awards!

As a team at Quench, we learned so much, and it was an honour to speak to so many student journalists and trustees.

A massive thank you to all the industry experts and journalists for putting together such insightful and valuable panels over the three days in Exeter.

On Saturday evening, we attended the National Awards, where we had been shortlisted for 6 awards. Congratulations to everyone that was shortlisted on our team, you should all be immensely proud.

A HUGE congratulations to our new literary magazine for being awarded highly commended for Best Newcomer Publication!!!

It has been a privilege to see it grow in just a short amount of time! A special mention to for your commitment and dedication to the running of Tonic by Quench.

Thank you to for hosting, and thank you to for your support as Welsh Regional Officer.

Huge congratulations to for winning Highly Commended! Being one of the smallest regions in the country, it is an honour to see the impact of our work as students in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 is only growing, and it is a testament to all our commitment and passion.

Congratulations to all the winners, it was such a rewarding experience being surrounded by the next generation of journalists! ✨

Finally, thank you to all of our editors, designers, illustrators, contributors, and everyone who supports the magazine. I am proud of every single one of you and I cannot tell you how excited I am to see what we do in the future!

Katie, EIC of Quench Magazine 💙💙
