Last week, Allison headed up to Sheffield DocFest for an incredible week of documentary storytelling and inspiration.

She was pleased to see our very own Vocal Histories Director, Cris (Cristian Saavedra), take the stage!
Cris’s film ‘Popcorn’ officially premiered after being created for the Filmmaking Challenge. The whole thing was shot in one single day on a micro-budget, with support from Prime Video

Vocal Histories of Wales meets LA🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇺🇸✨
Last week, Director zakceesay jetted off to Los Angeles for the Sony Future Filmmaker Awards.

Abdoul, along with all the other shortlisted filmmakers took part in incredible workshops, masterclasses at the iconic Sony Pictures Studio in LA.
Learning from industry leaders, and to connect with other creatives from across the world- it really was an inspiring week.

We are beyond proud to see the success of the Vocal Histories of Wales documentaries, and the success of the crew working on them.
Congratulations to Abdoul, and the whole crew- you truly deserve all the recognition!
And thank you Kemi Nevins for allowing the crew to tell your story!

The schedule for the Sinemaes at the National Eisteddfod this year promises to be the best yet! Next week we will start announcing the events and screenings that will be at the teepee in August.
