Up and out this morning. Nice walk down the road near Merthyr Mawr (it's not far from Bridgend). Some pretty properties along the lane. Thatched cottages and sweet stone houses line the route. We said hello to our furry and feathered friends (you'll see rabbits, horses, chickens and the occasional peacock - plus the usual pheasants). And a lovely husky type dog that we wish we could cuddle but he never gets up - clearly we're not that interesting. There was a chap fly fishing on the river too. Seemed idyllic. Shame it wasn't a little sunnier, but still an enjoyable walk.

We are going to mention the "C" word! Yes, Christmas is only 16 weeks away, so only 15 meat weeks to go. With social distancing restrictions still likely being in place, would our customers be interested in free home deliveries for their Christmas orders? We are going to be putting a few Christmas Hamper Ideas together which we will release shortly.

Of course, customers can still buy individual turkeys and other items from the shop as usual in the lead up.
