Neonatal colleagues held a stand at University Hospital of Wales today, to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week.

The team were around to chat to members of the public, to raise awareness, signpost bereaved families to support and remember much-loved babies. 💙

Colleagues displayed a ribbon display inspired by Sands, which allowed families to write their little one’s name on a ribbon in remembrance.

As a Neonatal Bereavement Nurse, Louise wants to enable conversations about baby loss and encourage people to seek support. “Baby Loss Awareness Week is about letting families know they are never alone in their grief. Taking a moment to pause, write a name, and share a memory helps keep those babies’ lives and legacies present.”
