John Deere has unveiled its model year 2027 (MY27) 6R Large and Xtra Large Frame tractor range, introducing a series of upgrades aimed at improving transport performance, operator comfort and machine uptime.
The updated line-up comprises six models, including the 6R 180, 6R 200, 6R 220, 6R 240, 6R 230 and flagship 6R 260, delivering up to 305hp with Intelligent Power Management (IPM).
A key focus of the update is road transport behaviour. John Deere's new Sport Package Pro combines steering, braking and suspension enhancements designed to improve ride quality and stability during transport operations. At the centre of the package is the latest TLS Pro front axle suspension, which automatically adapts damping characteristics according to speed, load and field conditions.
The tractors also feature an updated hydraulic cab suspension system designed to reduce vibration and noise, while a redesigned steering column and new leather steering wheel aim to improve driving ergonomics.

Kverneland has introduced a new 6m f-drill model to its portfolio of power harrow drill combinations, with this latest version combining hydraulic folding with the ability to distribute grain and fertiliser, or two different seed types, at the wider working width.
Called the f-drill Plus, this new 6m folding coulterbar brings a second distribution head and pipework to the outfit, for those seeking more output when used in combination with the Rotago F power harrow and f-drill Maxi Plus front hopper. The 2200-litre hopper carries two Eldos electrically-driven seed metering units, and offers a 60:40 split.
Using two 3m toolbars, the 6m f-drill Plus carries a total of 48 CX-II double-entry coulters. Seed and fertiliser distribution is achieved using dual distribution heads arranged one behind the other, positioned to enable hydraulic folding without interference.

Bobcat will showcase the new T650 compact track loader at Hillhead 2026 in Buxton, Derbyshire, from 23-25 June.
Expanding its compact loader portfolio, the new T650 Stage V compact track loader is designed for regulated European markets, including the UK. Manufactured at Bobcat’s facility in the Czech Republic, the machine combines the proven performance of the company’s 600-frame M-Series platform with full Stage V emissions compliance, without requiring AdBlue.
Powered by a 2.4-litre Bobcat engine producing 55 kW (74 hp), the T650 delivers strong performance for demanding applications. Its vertical lift path and rated operating capacity of 1,192 kg make it well suited to truck loading, pallet handling and earthmoving tasks, particularly on confined job sites.

The precision metering and rugged coulter system on this new high-output seed drill from Pöttinger enables exact placement of the seed and the best seed emergence as a result. The latest generation of the proven Aerosem seed drill offers a choice of two hopper systems: A standard hopper, with or without PCS (Precision Combi Seeding), or a double hopper with a pressurised hopper system.
Regardless of which hopper is installed, the centrepiece of the Aerosem M is the IDS (Intelligent Distribution System), which controls each outlet via the bus system. This feature is available as an option and opens up a wide range of possibilities for controlling the coulter pipes and tramlines and provides the best platform for contract work and machinery rings.
The machine is also impressively convenient to operate, delivering cost effectiveness and efficiency.

Kuhn Farm Machinery has introduced a 7.4m wide, mounted twin-rotor rake aimed at small and medium sized farms where a single-rotor rake has reached its output limit or field access prohibits trailed machines.
The 7.4m GA 7631 P has standard hydraulic working width adjustment to create central swaths from 1.3-2.2m, in a wide range of forage types. For transport, users can swiftly transition between field and road as all tine arms can remain in place, with the rake measuring 2.8m wide and 4m long.
Sam Alford, the companies grassland product specialist, says: “Mounted twin-rotor rakes might not be as popular as their trailed equivalents in the UK, but the manoeuvrability allows users to access hard to reach fields with a machine that offers output to match a trailed rake.”
The GA 7631 P joins an extensive range of twin-rotor rakes and features several well-established components, such as the Masterdrive GII maintenance-free gearbox for reduced regular maintenance requirements.

With rising soil temperatures and drying soils offering ideal maize-drilling conditions, grass breeder Barenbrug has reminded growers of the soil-health value in under-sowing with grass.
Retention of important nutrients, reduced topsoil loss and improved harvestability are just some of the benefits, but timing and species selection are crucial, says the company’s agriculture commercial manager David Linton.
“We all recognise that maize is a high-risk crop for soil health,” he explains, “and a cover crop like grass is probably the single best move a grower can make to reduce that risk. Yet it remains something of a niche undertaking.”
Water quality is potentially the biggest ‘win’, David points out, because the grass will help retain recognised ‘problem’ nutrients such as phosphorus and nitrates, which water companies regard as potential pollutants along with excess sediment.
“Of course, it’s a grower benefit too.

For the first time, Cereals visitors will be able to see the the latest Rogator 645 Gen 2 self-propelled sprayer, with one model demonstrating in the spraying arena and a second on the Fendt stand.
Cereals 2026 will be the first chance to see the updated Fendt Rogator Gen 2. The self-propelled sprayer features improved electronic, pneumatic nozzle bodies, Banjo plumbing connections and valves, and the ContiRinse system to improve accuracy and reduce downtime.
The updates are available on the latest 645, 655 and 665 Rogator, with the top model boasting a 6000-litre tank capacity and 307 horsepower engine to operate a 24 or 36 metre working width. All models in the range come with the option to automatically select nozzle combinations relative to forward speed, which enables optimum nozzle pressure. This, in turn, reduces drift, which is also maintained as forward speed changes.

A farmer-led project to trial the benefits of on-farm composting is set to help livestock and mixed farms better manage current concerns around farmyard manure (FYM).
Managing FYM remains one of the most complex and costly challenges facing UK farms, with strict NVZ regulations and Farming Rules for Water limiting when and how manure can be spread.
While composting potentially offers a more controlled and efficient approach, uptake has been limited by the lack of affordable, high-throughput machinery suited to UK farm conditions.
Funded through Defra’s ADOPT programme, the two-year field trial is using a British-built compost turner capable of processing up to 50% more material than comparable machines and comparing composted material with raw manure applications across several crops and soil types.
