A brilliant day sightseeing in London with the kids! 🇬🇧

Over 16,000 steps and, amazingly, not a single moan… aside from the regular requests for snacks and drinks, of course! 😂

What surprised us most was just how easy and accessible everything was. We used public transport to get around, TfL were absolutely brilliant, and the Uber Boat was such a fun way for the girls to see London from the Thames.

The whole day didn’t cost the earth either—just a few cold drinks, plenty of snacks and a swift beer for Dad! 🍺

We saw some incredible sights, made loads of memories and proved that a family day out in London doesn’t need to be complicated or ridiculously expensive.

A fantastic family adventure. See you again at Christmas, London! 🎄❤️

Does anyone else struggle to keep their children comfortable on those really hot nights? 🥵

This is the little bedtime trick we’ve used with our older children: a safely wrapped, freezer-safe cold bottle or cooling pack to help make the bed feel cooler.

A few important points:

Only use a product designed to be frozen.
Always wrap it and avoid prolonged direct contact with the skin.
Don’t place bottles, cooling packs or other loose objects in a baby’s sleep space.

For babies and younger children, follow trusted safer-sleep guidance.

Don’t cover your baby’s pram in hot weather

Never cover a pram or pushchair with a blanket during hot weather. It can restrict airflow and cause the temperature inside to rise quickly. Use a properly positioned parasol or another safe shade option instead.
