Tomorrow is Bandcamp Friday when Bandcamp waives their revenue share fee during each fundraiser window to support artists and labels.

The revenue share waiver applies to sales made between 12:00am to 11:59pm Pacific Time on any Bandcamp Friday.

Bandcamp Friday was first introduced in March 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Since its inception, the initiative has generated over $120 million in sales for artists and labels worldwide.

Dark Space Part 2 Live recorded at the Dark Space Planetarium, Kirkudbright with Sonic Labs and part of Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival.

This is a direct recording from my own audio interface so it does not include audience or other Sonic Labs members. There is some minor editing and mastering in readiness for upload.

This is an immersive track lasting just under 10 minutes. Deep feedback and reverb from a no input modular patch evolves into a rolling arpeggio and bass line. I’ve also used additional sounds played at varying speeds with audio feedback, distortion and plenty of reverb.

Headphones recommended.

I have now uploaded Part 1 of two live tracks recorded as part of the Sonic Labs performance at the Dark Space Planetarium in Kirkudbright and Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival.

It is a direct recording from my own audio interface so it does not include audience or other Sonic Labs members. There is some minor editing and mastering in readiness for upload.

This is an immersive track lasting just under 10 minutes, slowly unfolding and evolving notes creating an ambient vibe. I’ve also used additional sounds played at varying speeds with audio feedback, distortion and plenty of reverb.

Join us for an evening of cosmic soundscapes and textures, provided by Sonic Labs, a collective of D&G based sound artists and improvisers, combined with the interstellar live visuals of the Dark Space Planetarium. Live musicians will create a bespoke and interactive soundtrack to a journey throughout the galaxy.
