and on the 8th day God said “Let there be massive speakers..” 🔊
We recently set about upgrading these huge Court SN60 speakers - originally taken out of the famous Marquee Studios in London when it shut down. The mid cones and tweeters had seen better days, so we decided to install new mid domes and tweeters to provide a huge sonic upgrade.
Thankfully, Gareth & Pete’s very particular sets of skills combined perfectly to actually make the dream become a reality. Not to mention some hard graft from & Ryan to actually heave the speakers in place..!
We still need to add some finishing touches to fully complete the project, but it’s great to finally be getting them hooked up in the studio!
Got them paired with some powerful Quested MC2 amps and a BSS Omnidrive 3-way crossover 🤓
