UPDATE: HARBOUR HOTEL, CEMAES

Bridge Street will reopen at around 9.00am this morning.

However, 2-way traffic lights will have to be in operation as the area in front of the Harbour Hotel has been closed off due to the risk of loose slates falling from the roof.

The first entrance to the Gwelfor Estate which is within the scope of the traffic lights remains closed for the time being until further notice.

The roads highlighted in red will be closed for the time being following a fire at the Harbour Hotel which started at around 11.00pm last night.

1. 2 no. entrances / junctions to Gwelfor Estate
2. Bridge Street from the end of the High Street as far as the 2nd entrance to Gwelfor Estate.

Residents living at Gwelfor Estate will be able to travel to and from their homes via the other access onto the A5025 main road.

Barriers have been set-up around the hotel perimeter to stop public access. The building is unsafe and there is risk of it collapsing.

The roads highlighted maybe closed for some time as the building will need to be inspected.

Stalking is a form of harassment, but the stalker will have an obsession with the person they're targeting and their repeated, unwanted behaviour can make the victim feel distressed or scared.

Stalking may include:

- following someone
- going uninvited to their home
- hanging around somewhere they know the person often visits
- watching or spying on someone

It's stalking if the unwanted behaviour has happened two times or more and made you feel scared, distressed or threatened. If you believe you may be a victim of stalking or harassment you can report it directly to the police below:

Two people have been charged with stalking and harassment offences that occurred in Anglesey between February and May this year.

Paul Edward Powers, 55, of Cedar Grove, Chester, and Frances Patricia Mason,65, of Smithfield Drive, Holt, Wrexham, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Saturday 14th June.

Powers was charged with two counts of stalking and was remanded to appear at Caernarfon Crown Court on 14th July.

Mason was charged with two counts of harassment and was bailed to appear at Caernarfon Magistrates Court on 26th June.

Cafodd Mason ei chyhuddo o ddau achos o aflonyddu ac fe gafodd fechnïaeth i ymddangos yn Llys Ynadon Caernarfon ar 26 Mehefin.

Rolls-Royce has won a competition to be the first company to try to build small modular nuclear reactors in the UK, as part of a government effort to push Britain to the frontier of nuclear energy technology.

'Most Northerly dental practice in Wales' sold to growing group. Cemaes Bay Dental Practice on Anglesey has been acquired by Dylan Jones, founder of Glandŵr Dental as part of his group's ongoing expansion across North and West Wales.

Cemaes Bay Dental Practice was founded by clinician David Meacher in the late 1980s.

Sixteen workers at an Anglesey solar farm near Cemaes, have been arrested on suspicion of working without proper documentation.

Rhun ap Iorwerth, MS for Anglesey, said there had been a "significant failure" in "ensuring due diligence was undertaken" beforehand.

He said that workers being hired without the necessary work visas was "very alarming".

The Home Office confirmed that the arrests were made at the Porth Wen solar farm on 20 March.
