We would like to introduce you to Michael Lightfoot the storyboard artist behind Godsend.

Michael Lightfoot is storyboard artist, illustrator, fine artist and sometimes comic artist, based in Brighton, UK. He's created storyboards for a wide variety of films and advertising campaigns and shown his fine art in exhibitions in London, Australia, America and Europe. His graphic novella 'Looking for Love in Brexit Britain,' about the social impact of Brexit, was recently published by Soaring Penguin Press.

Michael’s work on our film has continually pushed our ideas from world building to shot decisions.

Sonic intensity and an unhealthy consciousness fills the barren English countryside.

CLOSER was made to give our supporters a better understanding of the tone and the world we want to build upon in Godsend.

During a fundraiser it is often hard to give our supporters a visual reference as to what the film will look and feel like.

Well, our write/director Connor Kinsey and producer/actor Jacob Meadows decided to shoot a very short piece to give you a better understanding of Godsend’s world and the tone of the film.

Godsend is a post-apocalyptic action/horror/thriller, and on Saturday at 2pm we will be dropping our short film “closer” as a treat for everyone’s support to our cause.

We want to introduce you to our lead actor:
Macadie Amoroso.

In Godsend, Macadie plays young post-apocalyptic survivor Lucy, who’s search for humanity brings her closer to death.

Macadie Amoroso is an actor, writer and graduate of East 15’s Acting & Contemporary Theatre course. She is a member of the National Youth Theatre, and has had recent success in her award-winning solo-show Blue Beneath My Skin.
Recent acting credits include: Blue Beneath My Skin (Bunker Theatre / Corbett Theatre); Much Ado About Nothing (East 15); F Off (NYT / Criterion Theatre); Bellwether (Stockwell Playhouse).

In a world where radiated dust has killed most of the population, a lone survivor must confront death in order to find salvation.

Godsend is a post-apocalyptic action/horror/thriller set in the Sussex countryside where isolation and loneliness is the smallest threat to humanity.

Our goal is to create a proof of concept for a much larger story to be told in this world. To create this ambitious project we need all the support we can get.
