Love this review for the Shut Um Down Remixes from Juno Download 😍

"Two weeks on from the original release and we're treated to three new rubs of Silvertooth's very Freakpower-esque cover of Gil Scott-Heron's early 80s anti-nuclear anthem. The Pop Up To Get Down Remix sticks most closely to the original's blueprint and is a lush, understated funker that rolls along on a bed of warm, walking bass. Chewy Rubs then steps up to the remix plate with a house pass that's liberally sprinkled with piano and underpinned by some subtle acid, while Sentre serves up a darker, more stripped-back remix aimed fair and square at those 4am moments."

The Silvertooth - Shut Um Down remixes are coming on the 6th of September. Sentre, Chewy Rubs and Pop Up To Get Down have delivered three gems. Here's a wee teaser of the Sentre Remix. It has been receiving huge AAA DJ support from the likes of John Digweed (included on his forthcoming 5 CD Bedrock comp in October), Nick Warren, Sasha, James Zabiela, Steve Parry and more. Sentre are deep-tech wizards and longtime Sasha collaborators. They have stripped it right down and dubbed it out into a techy prog workout....
