Exclusive Interview on Wednesday’s breakfast show.
Roger Parnell is a retired detective who worked on one of the biggest murder cases ever to be investigated in the UK.
We all remember the fear that reigned over Yorkshire in the late 70's and the mention of the killer's nickname, the Yorkshire Ripper, still sends shivers down the spine of Yorkshire folk today.
Even though the deranged killer, Peter William Sutcliffe, died in prison in 2020, the full story of the investigation and subsequent capture has yet to be told accurately.
Sutcliffe committed thirteen horrific murders and seven attempted murders over a 5 year period, until he was eventually caught, almost by accident in 1980.
Roger worked on the case from day one. He lived and breathed this investigation, saw the good, the bad and the ugly, and now he is going to tell us all about it, no holds barred, on Spectrum On Air the colourful voice of radio: Wednesday 24th September 8 - 9am on The Breakfast Show with Mike and Alan.
You will not want to miss this.
