Just about recovered from playing for Sue and Lyndsay's amazing wedding celebrations last weekend! These guys knew how to party... with a 3pm start, I was half-expecting an early finish - not a bit of it - I was thrilled to have a large percentage of the guests singing their hearts out to the last songs! Always an honour and thank you to Alice and her team in the Bluebell Suite for their support as always. Congrats, ladies! ♥️🌈xx

A very rare weekend off this weekend to tick off an item high on my bucket list: performances at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with West End Musical Choir! Amazing fun with our Becca, lots of friends... and some brilliant music! Huge thanks to Maxine & team and MD Matt for bringing it all together xx

I always appreciate what an honour it is to play at anyone's wedding... but Lizzie and Bex's celebrations at the Bluebell Suite on Saturday were next-level! Another brilliant mix of music, kicking off with a choreographed first dance involving lots of the family (photo used with permission) that paved the way for a full dance floor all night. What a truly joyous evening! So grateful to have been part of it ♥️🏳️‍🌈xx

Fantastic night on Saturday back at Owen House Wedding Barn for the wedding of Joe and Eilish, representing Love Music Events. A truly lovely couple with the most amazing mix of rock, pop-punk, cheese and singalongs on the playlist = loads of fun from start to finish! Thank you, everyone xx

Currently collapsed in a heap on the sofa after a VERY busy week! I'd covered a quiz night and done a Year 6 leavers' party on Wednesday and Thursday before I'd even got the phone out to take pictures! Then on Friday I had a surprise birthday party at Denton Golf Club; Saturday night I was at Cheadle Golf Club for Theo's 18th birthday, and on Sunday it was back to the beautiful Styal Lodge Wedding Venue for Jodie and Dom's wedding, on behalf of the lovely people at Love Music Events. All five nights were amazing fun; I failed miserably to get any pictures of busy dancefloors, but I had the pleasure of meeting the photographer Jonny Draper for the first time last night, and he looked like he got some amazing shots! - so hopefully he might share some of them...🤞🏻Thanks as always to everyone for having me! xx

Two amazing nights out this week: Thursday at The Stoller Hall with West End Musical Choir and then tonight at Marple Sports Club celebrating the lovely Ciara's birthday. Too hot to dance?! Not for these guys! (okay, the fantastic aircon helped...)

Just about recovered from our amazing "Back To The 80s" night at The Kenilworth on Saturday! Thank you to everyone who came down and especially those who rocked their 80s fancy dress! I was just going over my prep notes this morning and realised there were at least fifty songs I had shortlisted that I didn't get time to play, so we'll have to do another 80s night later in the year! Busy busy this week! Already done a Y6 leavers' party at The Merlin, Alderley Edge plus Will and Kate's wedding celebrations (not that Will and Kate...) at The Crown Hawk Green... oh, and helping our daughter relocate her new narrowboat! - walking from Droylsden to central Manchester, and pulling it from the towpath half the way... Don't forget, Saturday (5th July) is our Back To The 80s night at The Kenilworth - free entry! X

Back to work this weekend after a holiday. Actually, I ended up helping out a local bar and hosting some karaoke while we were away... well, I've always wanted to play in Ibiza 😂 Tonight I was out in Urmston with Diane and her family and friends to celebrate a special birthday. Too warm for most people to dance, but a great mix of the tracks of our years had plenty of toes tapping! Speaking of which, this coming Saturday (5th) is our free-entry 80s night at my local, the Kenilworth... it'd be great to see you ❤️
