Where do I even begin. From the first meeting with Shaun we knew we were hiring him for our wedding. He absolutely did not disappoint.
We had the absolute best time. Shaun was absolutely amazing and more than we could have wanted and dreamed.
Everyone was giving compliments and we kept the saxophone playing a secret and what a surprise for guests it was. Everyone loved the saxophone. We have had guests asking for your details for their own events.
I still can't believe you did the music, saxophone and pictures.
The set up was beautiful and the neon sign on the dj booth was just the perfect decoration.
Thank you again for everything and for being one of the highlights of our special day. I haven’t danced that much in a long time - so much so I have mystery bruises from dancing.
The Photo Booth was incredible and the photo album/guest book has been looked at many a time. It was the perfect way to capture our guests and our evening.

The tale from the beginning.

My name is Shaun Brady, the braun and the brains behind SBDJ Services. I’m a self employed freelance musician, always looking for new challenges and unique ways to develop myself doing the things I love. I enjoy listening to many different styles of music, tinkering on my saxophone and exploring with my partner Lauren in our classic 1989 mini!

I suppose the main thing you need to know about me, is that I have a passion for music. I love it, always have. Nobody knows why – my parents haven’t a musical bone in their body, the only interest my dad has is his little man crush for the ‘Eagles.’ So basically, I’m a normal guy who just decided one day in primary school that I wanted to learn the saxophone.

From there my interests expanded throughout school, college and university taking up more instruments, listening to more music and collaborating with different groups, ensembles and musicians. Whilst studying for my degree, I decided to take the plunge and start my own business – moving away from my part time retail job where I met my lovely partner. After playing a few different DJ events, mainly for friends and family, I built the courage to buy myself some ‘proper’ equipment so I could start to feel more professional and look the part. What began as a midi controller on a wobbly camping table, turned into a purpose built DJ booth with a built in desk, equalisers and compressors and built in LED lighting. I’m a sucker for a bargain, so our setup is constantly evolving with the introduction of new technologies, whether that be lighting, hardware or software!

Four years on, my small business has grown into a full time job with more excellent DJ’s and entertainers fulfilling contracts and putting smiles on all of our customers faces. As a team, we’re dedicated to providing a personal service to all of our clients, and are proud to provide professional entertainment package services for all kinds of events, weddings and celebrations. We’re happy to go the extra mile to ensure you’re filled with confidence knowing your entertainment is in safe hands. Whether it’s a complimentary consultation to put your mind at ease, or a last minute question the morning before for those last minute questions, you’ll always be able to get in touch so we can make your event everything you dreamed of.
