DON’T JOKE WITH DISCERNMENT
Last Sunday, a dear member of our church gave a strange testimony that sent shockwaves through the spines of many listeners.
He said sometime last year, he came across a former neighbor he hadn’t seen for a very long time.
They exchanged pleasantries, and he asked about his wife. The former neighbour told him that his wife was late. He expressed his condolences and walked away.
Three weeks ago, he met another former neighbor who also knew the first man he met, and they also exchanged pleasantries.
While they were talking, the woman told him if he was aware of the death of the wife to the first neighbor he had met.
He affirmed that he was aware and told her that the man had told him about the loss of his wife last year.
The moment he said that, the woman paused and asked if he was sure of what he was saying.
He insisted that he met the man last year and he personally told him of the death of his wife.
The woman was stunned and almost started crying immediately.
Then, she proceeded to break the shocking news to him that the man he claimed to have met was buried along with his wife in 2021 because they both died in the same period.
He almost collapsed when he heard that the man he had met with and greeted with hugs and handshakes last year had been dead since 2021.
I'm sure you may have heard stories of people encountering the dead and thought they were mere superstitions and fairy tales. Our member met one as well. Thank God for preserving him.
My point is this, there is every possibility for that “dead” man to still be walking about and relating with people till this day.
There is every possibility that he will meet a single lady someday and propose to marry her.
There have been cases of such before. Cases of women marrying certain men, only to discover after some years that the man they married had been dead and buried long before they met.
You have to know that not every person you see or meet with is a human being. There are all kinds of entities moving about camouflaged as men.
There are demonic agents in this category as well.
This is why you must be discerning. Especially when making a choice of a life partner.
It is a huge risk to pick a life partner without first engaging spiritual discernment.

Note: For those who may want to begin a theological argument to debunk the testimony of the member I shared, I think it isn’t necessary. His experience was real. I don’t have an explanation as to how a dead person can still be walking and interacting with people. Only God knows how such can happen.
