Over to Braintree for this new customer today to do some data networking at their property. I was approached by this customer as they wanted to hardwire to 3 rooms to enable better connectivity of devices. Firstly it was a relocation of their router to improve WiFi signal around the house. Secondly 3 x 8-port Gigabit network switches were then installed in different locations allowing numerous devices to be connected. Lastly, a Cat6 data point was installed on the top floor to allow connection of a Sky mini box which was struggling for WiFi connection. All installed with Cat6 and patch leads made in Cat6 also. An existing WiFi access point was also wired to improve WiFi signal to the rear of the property! 👌🏼🛜👌🏼

It’s been a TV’s kind of day today! First stop was for a new customer in Danbury to wall mount their 65” Samsung Frame TV. My customer wanted the TV corner mounted so I supplied and installed a long reach bracket, making this possible. 150mm coach bolts were used to fix the bracket, securing it nicely! The one Connect cable was routed within the wall keeping everything nice and tidy! Then over to Springfield to wall mount 2 TV’s for a returning customer. Having recently completed an extension it was time to add the TV’s. Relocation of the original lounge TV to the kitchen/diner and installation of a new 65” LG for the lounge. Just the wall panelling and TV units to add to finish this room off. Both TV’s were connected to the same Sky box via a HDMI over Cat6 extender kit, meaning that Sky can be viewed in both locations! More happy customers all ready for Christmas 🎅🏽🎄👌🏼

Installation of this 1 camera CCTV setup over in Newlands Spring this morning for a new customer. 1 x 4K camera and 4ch NVR to cover the front of this property. As always the system is internet connected to give remote access from a mobile or tablet device from anywhere in the world. My second job for the day was this Ring Video Doorbell and Chime setup in Springfield. The doorbell was hardwired using a Ring power adapter meaning no need for downtime of the device whilst charging! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Yesterday’s installation was this 50” Samsung Frame TV. Having previously worked for this customer I was asked to return to remove their old TV and cantilever bracket and install this new Frame and One Connect box. These TV’s sit flush to the wall meaning that they are ideal if you want to maximise space in the room! 👌🏼📺 👌🏼

Back to Billericay to install this Victrola Stream Carbon record player for my returning customer. Having previously installed a ceiling speaker and Sonos Amp in this orangery I was asked to connect this unit. Due to the location of the Amp and the positioning of the turntable we opted for a WiFi connection between devices. A quick configuration between Sonos and Victrola apps and this system was soon pumping out the sounds. Combined with the multi-room functionality of Sonos, this record player can be heard throughout the whole house 🔊🔉🔈

Busy day today with this 4 camera CCTV installation along with Ring doorbell and chime. A fair amount of conduit work was involved with this setup and all cabled from scratch. Privacy masking was activated on the system due to one of the cameras being able to see into a neighbouring property. This completely blocks out the view on both live view and recording. A battery Ring doorbell was also installed along with a chime. Overall this property is well and truly covered!! 👀👌🏼👀

A couple of jobs for new customers today. The first was a TV mount at a new build in Kelvedon. Supply and installation of a scissor wall mount allowing the TV to be angled for different seating positions. 120mm Corefix fixings were used to secure this mount on a dot and dab wall. The second job was installation of this Ring video doorbell and power supply. The previous owner of this property had removed the original doorbell and chime and filled over the existing mains and doorbell cabling. Cables were located and housed, along with the transformer, in a Ring DIN rail housing. The doorbell was then connected to the existing wiring and configured within the app 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

A few more TV’s wall mounted today for this new customer in Maldon. Two Samsung QLED TV’s, 65” & 55” mounted on Samsung Slim-fit wall mounts keeping both units tight to the wall and maximising room space, and a third Samsung LED TV relocated from in to a guest bedroom using an aftermarket slimline TV mount. All cables were routed within wall cavities to keep the area as cable free as possible 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Wall mount of this 55” Hisense 4K TV today for a new customer on the Channels estate followed by installation of a 5G external WiFi receiver on the Westlands estate. Removal of an aerial in Old Springfield as well as 3 job surveys all made for a busy day! Aerial installation for this new customer in Beaulieu Park this morning. This loft aerial was connected to 3 rooms via a 4-way distribution amplifier providing digital freeview to each location. Directed towards the Sudbury transmitter as this provided the strongest signal as well as offering regional channels for the area. Then on to my second job for a returning customer in Springfield. A quick removal of their old LG TV and replacement with a new, larger LG model using the same wall mount. TV re-connected and re-tuned and it’s good to go 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
