It's Volunteers Week 2025 and we'd like to just spend a moment to say THANK YOU to the hundreds of volunteers of health & wellbeing broadcasting stations from across the country, who give up their time to bring joy to those in need.
Our member stations provide light relief, entertainment and information to patients, staff and visitors in hospitals across the UK, as well as their local communities. From those working on-air playing dedications to loved ones in hospital, to those working behind the scenes to ensure things are running smoothly, volunteers are the backbone of health & wellbeing broadcasting and continue to make it a success today.
HBA is also run entirely by volunteers, many of whom also volunteer for their own stations too, so a big thank you to our volunteers on the inside, who strive to put health & wellbeing broadcasting on the map at a national level.
