The last few weeks have been some of the hardest we’ve faced.

If we’re honest, our mental health has been all over the place. Some days we’ve felt strong and determined, and other days we’ve really struggled. People see the posts and the campaigning, but they don’t always see the people behind the screen.

One of the things we’ve struggled with most is looking back and asking ourselves how we let someone into our lives who has had such a negative impact on us. We saw things that didn’t sit right with us, but we chose to focus on the good because we felt so much compassion, especially for the children involved. Looking back now, we wish we’d trusted our instincts sooner.

The events of this week have been incredibly upsetting and have brought a lot of those emotions back to the surface. They have made us realise that sometimes people aren’t who you believe they are. From our perspective, many of us were taken in, and that’s been a difficult thing to come to terms with.

Despite everything, we’ve reached out to a few people over the last few days, and their kindness has reminded us that there are still genuinely good people around. To those of you who have checked in on us, listened to us and supported us, thank you. It has meant more than you’ll ever know.

We’ve spent a lot of time beating ourselves up, but we keep coming back to why we started this campaign in the first place. Our job is to stand up for our community, expose what’s happening at Wethersfield, raise awareness, and help unite people across Braintree, Colchester and Chelmsford.

We’ve realised that sometimes you have to leave people behind. Not because you hold hate in your heart, but because you can’t move forward while carrying the weight of people who are dragging you backwards.

From today, our focus is back where it belongs: on our communities, on the people who genuinely support one another, and on continuing the work that so many of us believe in.

We won’t allow distractions or negativity to take us away from our purpose. We will continue standing together, supporting one another, and doing what we set out to do from the very beginning.

Thank you to everyone who has stood by us through all of this. We won’t let what’s happened define us. We’ll learn from it, we’ll become stronger because of it, and we’ll keep moving forward together.

A Statement from Stand Up Chelmsford

We feel it is important to address recent events and provide some context.

Back in October, Holly England became associated with our campaign after we invited her to Chelmsford to help us get started, as we had very little experience organising protests. As time went on, we felt that we wanted to move in a different direction.

We remained involved for longer than we otherwise might have because we had built a close relationship with her children, and later wanted to show compassion while her mum was unwell.

There were also several occasions where Holly did not attend demonstrations that had been planned including two in December and one in February. As a team, we felt it was time to separate our campaigns. Her Mum fell unwell and we felt compassion for again so the relationship felt extended longer than we wanted.

Following the arrest of one of our members, bail conditions meant there could be no contact with Holly. Some time later, Holly publicly announced that she would be launching a new campaign with Emma Bishop. Given the direction Holly had taken publicly, and because we wanted to protect the reputation and identity of our own campaign after Holly incited Riots and has 7 charges against her, we issued a brief statement confirming that Holly was no longer affiliated with Stand Up Chelmsford. We never wrote anything misleading it was a polite message.

That statement contained no personal attacks. It simply confirmed that we were parting ways.

Following that announcement, abusive messages and what we perceived to be threatening communications were received. Due to this message received from Holly we reshared the statement.

We quickly received a message from Emma Bishop that if we didn’t take the post down Holly would go to PC Mayes and say we broke bail conditions.

Holly then took to social media with a post confirming she had “sent the information to the correct people” “We were warned and now face the consequences”

This week, one of our members was informed that information had been provided to Essex Police alleging a breach of bail conditions. We strongly dispute that allegation and have maintained that no bail condition was breached. Holly was informed by one of our team that no bail conditions were broken but still she decided to report us to the police because of her jealousy that she was no longer part of our campaign!.

The matter is now with the appropriate authorities, and we will allow the legal process to take its course. We will not be commenting further on that aspect while it remains ongoing.

Holly then reached out to a contact asking if “Has she been nicked babe”

“Several times then continued to slag me off which someone else saw and was fuming so they did it

and i’m glad they did. I won’t ever take being mugged off and belittled by no one. Anyway, how was saturday “

This shows that this was done in retaliation to our posts.

She then denied reporting to the police but she left so many trails. Her words were “Karma is a Bitch”

Finally, we want to make it absolutely clear that Holly is not involved with Stand Up Chelmsford, Stand Up Britain, Stop the Wethersfield buses Colchester, or the other campaign we are working alongside.

This is a common theme with Holly she did exactly the same to many in Braintree.

She’s burnt many bridges but the nail on the coffin was going to the police about a Woman that did everything for her.

We respectfully ask supporters to continue backing all three towns (Chelmsford, Colchester and Braintree) and the people who give up their time every week to raise awareness peacefully.

Our focus remains exactly where it has always been: our communities, our campaign, and moving forward.

She has been charged with several offences and will appear before the courts this summer

This was great work. The Sun took Shells investigation as their own but now it’s gone viral. This information is out there and people are seeing what public money is being spent on. Great work 👏👏

It’s been a tough few weeks. In truth, it’s been a tough year.

On 19 March, one of our admins was arrested. We can’t say much about the circumstances at the moment because the matter is still ongoing, but we absolutely maintain our innocence and believe the arrest was unjustified, completely wrong on all levels and this woman doesn’t deserve what she’s been going through. In the right circumstances, we’ll share our side of the story.

Since then, complaints have been made to Essex Police about themselves mainly the Braintree department and their woke leftie officers about the way the matter has been handled, and the stress and uncertainty have taken their toll. It’s affected friendships, our personal lives and our mental wellbeing. There have also been many challenges within the team that our followers will never see.

On top of that, we’ve had to deal with abuse from someone who is no longer involved with our group. Following our decision to go our separate ways, an allegation was made to the police that one of us had breached bail conditions. This was in retaliation to allegations we wrote lies about her online. We didn’t and We strongly dispute that allegation and have been addressing it through the appropriate legal channels. Yes she sent pictures to police then wrote online she didn’t. These were taken from a private Facebook account and she messages one of us with them pictures. All roads leads to to her and her girls allowed alliance.

What disappoints us most is that we never set out to attack or criticise anyone publicly. When we announced that we were moving in different directions, we deliberately kept it respectful. We wished them well and simply explained that they were no longer affiliated with Stand Up Chelmsford.

We could have said many things but we didn’t we kept it very professional and still then she decided to publicly write online that we were facing the consequences and she had sent the information to the relevant people.

Photos have been sent to the police and false allegations were made about a scenario that no bail conditions were broken. One of our team did explain that to her but she still decide to go against us in a nasty manner. she even wrote to a contact asking if “she’d been nicked” she left a big trail and now denies sending to the police but we have all the evidence including a FOI report.

She wonders why she gets dropped by the free speech union and has 7 charges against her.

Despite everything that’s happened behind the scenes, we continue to turn up week after week. We’re just ordinary local women who care deeply about our community and our country.

We all have jobs, families, responsibilities and struggles that people don’t always see.

So before judging us or sending abuse online, please remember that there are real people behind this page.

You never truly know what someone is dealing with behind closed doors.

We’ll keep going. We’ll keep standing together. And we’ll continue doing what we believe is right.

Moving forward we want peace and harmony. But there are just some people we cannot associate with and it seems to be a common denominator across a few groups in the UK where people think they are famous when they are not.

We’ve sent apologies to other groups due to being in an alliance with her and now we will continue to build bridges.

Thanks for your ongoing support.

We only started campaigning in this way in October and it’s certain been a learning curve.

As the capacity increased in Wethersfield asylum centre more and more buses are rolling.

Looks like an English man got off this bus maybe he was from a charity helping these complete legal papers.

We don’t want an increase of capacity and more and more illegals putting pressure on our local services.

Day in day out Illegal Migrants from Wethersfield are dropped into Chelmsford, Colchester and Braintree from Wethersfield Asylum camp.

All covering faces and prepared with suitcases and rucksacks to take all their “goodies” back.

Join us weekly to say no to this.

We’ve just seen a post about another potential 'bus blocking'. We're trying to find out more information, as we have quite a few people who would love to join.
If you know any more details about this, please let us know.
