Went out on a lovely weather. Thank you to the Hammersmith Lib for lending me the book! I’m a foreign national in this country, yet it didn’t stop me from having priviledges to borrow classics, much more to have a good time.

So over the last three days I went to Manila for ✨ researcher moments✨ and guess where I headed to after buying groceries for the kids in a nearby Landers Store:

I was about to give up looking for books worth my dime, but couldn’t let myself go home empty-handed so when I came accross “Torpedoed” I thought I should start reading WWII literatures since I’ve always had interest about Japanese Occupation from 1939-1945 (stories of horror, prison, anguish and war).

Until I came home bringing six books in my hands 😆

Long story short, it was a fleeting short break and I couldn’t wait to read all of them even amidst acads and work.

I’m hoping to learn more from these literatures and writings. I can’t wait to share ideas and feedback!
