lips.

skip
Simultaneous beats
and stop.
for the same
sweet
second.

Let me fall,
Deeply,

and feel that mutual eagerness
Of returned and long awaited passion.

warmth
Once more.
Of snatched
Secret moments
Or shared secrets
Transmitted
though subtle signals
That only lovers know.

Let me smile
Knowing smiles.
Of a man wrapped
in love.
Knowing he’s not alone
and that someone
awaits my embrace.

Let me sleep
next to a warm
contented
woman.
Scented by our s*x
Flustered and blushed
through the rush of blood.
Happily dreaming
In exhausted satisfaction
Of a life as yet unwritten
but where we both
play the starring role.

Let me be
contented.
I wish for nothing
but to love and be loved.
But until then
Give me sound mind
that those heady romantic
days and nights
will return once again.

Digitally Wychwood was the Wychwood Festival response to the CoronaVirus supported by The Cheltenham Poetry Festival and was screened two weeks ago. We are now free to release this to you all.

This Is A Public Service Announcement

A new old direction from the musicians that brought you Them Spitfires....

We are The PWE's.

The PWE’s will use our vast network of spies, collaborators, cohorts and partners-in-crime to write, release and perform various different projects of aural intrigue of stupendous sonic subversion and Machiavellian musical misdirection across a multitude of genres and spoken word.

Few are called, even fewer are chosen.

We embrace novelty and nostalgia with more than a deferential nod to those who’ve gone before with honesty about our dishonesty and un-erring authenticity.

Whilst still in the gestating writing stage, we soon will be performing again (and releasing) using the old Them Spitfires material but injecting gradually something slightly different.
