Do make sure you regularly audit your existing Instagram content. With the potential for your public professional posts to appear in Google searches, take this opportunity to review older content. 😊 The best day… anything to do with adrenaline ..count me in! I mean, given that I’m horrendous at bike riding, this could have gone one of two ways 😆 but thank god I’m a lot better on a Surron.. although my mini me did absolutely thrash me 🤣

If anyone Cotswolds based wants the details for this e-bike experience track : let me know : they have bikes for kids and adults as well as helmets and the kids were given expert tuition first.

Followed this up with a trip to watch The Penguin Lessons at the cinema with my son… bawled my eyes out.. loved the book, the movie was a really really good adaptation: Steve Coogan was brilliant.

A great day, now absolutely broke 😂

Instagram grids have changed! As Instagram has moved to the new vertical format here are all the size changes that you need to make sure your grid looks in-sync.

if you need to amend your grid has all the advice that you need please do share this with somebody who is struggling with the changes to the grid.

PS, if you cannot add one of your current post to fit your grid, it may be that it was a previous advert, so you will need to delete the ad before you can adjust the post to fit your grid.

👩‍🏫One of the most helpful pieces of advice that I give to my clients in my one to one social media marketing sessions, is around ‘problem / solution’ based social media posts and not selling the product itself, but the end result/benefit/feeling.

It is really important to create content that speaks to a specific person and to put yourself in their shoes. What are they feeling? What is the problem that they are facing, and how can you fix it for them?

Here’s an example : you sell candles… it’s a struggle to get your product out there as it’s a hugely competitive market.

Create a short video of a bath running with lots of bubbles, and focus on the candle burning next to the bath.

Your hook (the text that runs on the video itself :and must might be ‘ Hey busy stressed out mama… this is your sign to take 5 minutes just for you and only you.’

Ok, let’s be honest, it may just encourage your target audience to go and take half an hour for themselves and not buy one of your products in the proceedings but my point is you have now got your brand in front of your target audience, so by posting content consistently that speaks to your audience, it’s only a matter of time!

📖 If your Instagram stories views are consistently lower than you’d like then hopefully you’ll find this guide helpful.

The things that really work best for me are showing my face on video stories (which like most of my clients, I also hate doing 😂) using engagement stickers when relevant, and not being too salesy.

Funny memes, and giving top tips (adding value) are always going to work well!

Barcelona : you are everything ❤️ I’ve worked so so hard to be able to take these amazing children abroad for the first time in years. It’s not easy running your own business. Late nights, hard work, a LOT of stress.. but I promised myself I’d do it before the end of the year and we bloody smashed it ❤️❤️🥰… the three musketeers on tour 😊
