better know as The Presidents of the Fan Club, is a strictly vinyl DJ who we here at Solt proudly hold close to us as one of the members that’s been here from the start. From playing at our first gig in Cheshire at The Oaklands and being one of the main influences behind this project, we bring you the third addition to Solt Radio.

This mix was intended for our third party back in the summer of 2024, but unfortunately due to his illness he couldn’t perform. He left us a CD named “Social Butterfly” and during his slot we played this in his absence. This CD was created with the intention of playing “different styles to give your customers variety of what Solts about..” We thought this would be the most appropriate mix of his to publish for the first time on the radio as this was personally crafted for us.

The Presidents has a vast knowledge of the house scene from when it was in its early years in the UK and Ibiza. Although he doesn’t describe himself as a DJ anymore, you’ll find on this sub-series dedicated to his mixes, they’re on a named CD with an occasional drawing on the front of it. This reflects his artistic side to his personality and his taste in his music.

Expect to see genres of minimal, balearic, and some that the man himself sometimes can’t quite put his finger on. We present to you, The Presidents of the Fan Club…🧂

Hailing from the heart of Manchester’s underground scene, .dj_ is a digital/vinyl DJ and producer pushing the boundaries of a deep style of techno and breakbeat. With a music collection spanning from the 90s including Techno, Electro and breaks. A sound fusing hypnotic grooves, raw percussion, and atmospheric textures, creating immersive journeys built for late-night sessions and warehouse dance floors. From intimate club nights throughout the Uk to the radio, he aims to contribute to the landscape of deep, forward-thinking electronic music.

._baba is a DJ from Merseyside/Liverpool who’s been DJing for 3 years with his passion starting from throwing house party’s in which he learnt the craft.

“I’ve always had a great group of support around me to help my confidence with mixing and have tried a number of various styles ranging from hard techno to trance before finding a true passion for a progressive style of house in which I believe my mixing truly breathes and comes to life.

My DJ name originated from a nickname gained in high school which stuck with me though later life and which I still have to this day, it was the only real choice when selecting a name which means something to me and my friends.

In terms of this set any listens are always appreciated as well as feedback and a big thanks to Solt Promotions for the opportunity l’ve been granted to share my sound as well as my story”.
