Documents needed for your standard UK visit visa application process 👇👇
Before you start your visitors visa application, either for yourself or for a family member (parent, siblings or distant relative), all documents needed should be on ground especially if you are uploading them yourself, and if you will be paying for assisted service at the biometrics center then these must be with you.
1. Your travel document (passport ): it must be up to date and have some blank pages
2. If you have a sponsor then ;
a; If someone is sponsoring your visit then evidence of support from the sponsor showing that the person must have enough fund to support themselves and you when you visit (that’s bank details and atleast 3 months of payslips from your sponsor)
b: evidence of relationship with your sponsor that’s if it’s a family member or employer(for example if it’s a parent or child then you need birth certificate showing the relationship)
c: if the person sponsoring you is in the UK then you will need their British passport of residence documents
d: an invitation letter from your invitee stating clearly the reasons for your visit
e: proof of address of your invitee (it can be their bank statement or house rent receipt)
f: data page of passport of your invitee
3. If you are a child below 18 then You should show a legal document showing the relationship between you and at least 1 of your parents or guardians, for example a birth certificate or adoption papers. You should show a copy of the photo page of at least 1 parent’s or guardian’s passport, including their signature and passport number, if they’re not also applying for a visa.
4: if you are a child above 18 You should provide additional documents to show that your parent or guardian is aware of your travel plans and that they give you permission to enter the UK. Your application may be refused if you don’t.
You should provide a signed letter from your parent or guardian confirming your travel arrangements, including: your parent or guardian’s consent for you to travel to the UK and how you intend to travel.
5. If you are supporting yourself then you must have evidence of your finance , then evidence to show that you will return to your home country ; this is especially for young people, it can be proof of leave from work, stating the dates you will be needing.
