A little update…

Early on in the year, I set up a GoFundMe because everything went quiet with work, and it reached the point where I couldn’t even afford to feed my dogs.

Thankfully, things started to pick back up and I was able to keep everything going.

But recently, I’ve noticed things starting to drop again.

Everything I do is for the dogs.

So I’ve decided to share the GoFundMe again, just to keep it there in case anyone would like to support us.

A little memory that popped up today.
Back when I was dog walking.

A lot has changed over the years, but one thing hasn’t.

I’ve always been happiest surrounded by the dogs. ❤️

One of the main reasons people are struggling with their dogs…

Is because humans are too weak with their animals.

Jax has been in today for his second social, and he’s also been introduced to another new dog, Rupert.

So Jax has now met five different males, three of them intact, and there’s still been no aggression from him at all.

In this video, Rupert is checking Jax out. He’s smelling around his ears, checking his back end, putting pressure on him, then walks around the front and marks.

That isn’t Rupert just having a wee. He’s marking, building himself up, and making his presence known to Jax.

Towards the end, I give Rupert a little vocal sound, basically saying, “Hey mate, that’s enough now. Give Jax a bit of a break.”

When I was showing Jax’s owner the video, I asked him, “What do you think he’d do if another male came up to him on the walk and started smelling around him, just like Rupert is doing here?”

He said, “F**king hell, he’d just kick off. It’d be a nightmare.”

Yet this is Jax with another male right in his face, putting pressure on him, smelling all over him, marking directly in front of him, whining and being persistent.

And that’s the bit that surprised his owners the most.

Jax has done really well today.

For months I’ve waved at Tracy every time she’s driven past from dropping George off for socials.

And she’s never even looked at me or waved back. 😂

So I finally told her how fu***ng cold she was…

So today, she waved AND smiled. 😂❤️
