best way to peel of the top layer of tape, the BEST way to peel the top backing layer off double-sided sticky tape using a utility knife — without damaging the tape underneath! In this quick tip video, I show a simple technique I’ve found works for years now: use a Stanley/utility knife to gently cut under the backing layer, lift it up, and peel it cleanly so the adhesive side stays intact and stuck down. No more struggling to find an edge or ripping the tape!
