Happy Tuesday ✨

This hexagonal pop-up box is a project from a few years ago, but it still holds the vintage glamour I love – soft florals, gentle layers, and a little bit of magic when it opens up.

Projects like this are a reminder of why we craft. Taking time to play with shape, texture, and detail, using papers and elements we are drawn to, and creating as we go. In the middle of January, it feels good to bring out something a little decorative and uplifting.

I hope it encourages you to revisit an older project, or simply sit down and create something just because it makes you happy❤️

Happy Monday. 📮

Today is launch day for The Collector from Craft Consortium Ltd and this close-up highlights one of the characterful pages within the papers – including the vintage dog breed illustrations. These small images are ideal for cutting into, layering, and using as focal points within mini mixed media pieces.

What I enjoy about this range is how easily it blends with what you already own. Inks, stamps, scraps, and sentiments can be brought together to create projects that feel thoughtful, layered, and personal, without needing to start from scratch.

If you would like to see The Collector range in full, it launches live on HobbyMaker today, starting with Adam Humphreys Live on Craft O’Clock at 12pm, followed by TV shows at 2pm and 6pm.

You can watch live on Freeview 73, Sky 670, Freely 456, Virgin Media 754, as well as on the HobbyMaker app and YouTube Live.

Hello again

To begin 2026, I have created a tutorial showing how to make this envelope folio using elements from The Collector range.

The folio is built with layers, pockets, and collated details, making it a flexible format for ephemera, journaling, and memory keeping. It is a project that can be kept simple or added to over time, depending on how you like to work.

If you enjoy slower, thoughtful makes and designs that evolve as you go, this is a project you may enjoy trying. Let me know how you get on with your own projects.

Happy Sunday.📮📩

This piece features the ephemera cards from “The Collector” range. These come as three sets of cards, designed to echo the look and feel of old cigarette cards, bringing a feeling of nostalgia and storytelling to your projects.

They work beautifully layered into journals, folios, and card fronts, adding character and detail. Each card feels like a small collated memory, perfect for building depth and interest, without adding weight to your project.

“The Collector” is launching this Monday on HobbyMaker. Then it will be available from your local stockists and the Craft Consortium Ltd website.

I will be sharing more using this collection later.

Have a great relaxing day 📮❤️

Happy Saturday📮🌿

This layout is created from The Collector range, which brings together layers of vintage imagery, postcards, stamps, and collected details, creating something that feels like a piece of family history.

The Collector includes 12×12 and 6×6 papers, designed to work easily alongside your existing stash. The iconic Emporium papers along with the Essential Journal stamps are my personal recommendations. It is a range that encourages making and creating pieces that feel personal, with a touch of vintage heritage.

If you would like to see The Collector range, it launches live on HobbyMaker this Monday, with shows at 2pm and 6pm, following Craft O’Clock with Adam Humphreys Live at 12pm. (UK time)

You can watch live on:
Freeview 73 | Sky 670 | Freely 456 | Virgin Media 754
as well as on the HobbyMaker app and YouTube Live.

You can also see more from the design team across their social media and in the Official Craft Consortium Network. 📮📩

Please join us live on HobbyMaker this Monday for a very special, exclusive launch.

Starting with Craft O’Clock at 12pm, we will then be live in the studio at 2pm and 6pm with our first collection launch of the year, demonstrated by the incredibly talented Dawn Wheeler.

What are we launching?

We are so proud to be introducing 'The collector';

A stunning, vintage inspired, eclectic styled collection, perfect for anyone who loves the world of intricacy, art and expression.

The creativity the collection offers, is so versatile and adaptable, from the vintage postcard stamp set, supported with the rub on stamps and franked postal marks, creating an endless possibility for those who love to experiment and cross over different skill sets from cardmaking to journaling.

The newly envisaged vintage collectable cigarette cards brings a nostalgia element to the theme for you to explore, whilst the overall theme gives a sense of travel and adventure.

Supported by a series of incredible patterns and elements on high quality FSC Certified cardstock, photopolymer stamp sets which coordinate with our existing Essential Craft Stamps range. This collection is truly timeless and one to cherish.

(We recommend: This collection coordinates with our Essential Craft Papers - Leather Bound collection, and supporting Essential Craft Stamps - Ink & Coffee Stains , Script and Journaling sets)

We hope you can join us.

Happy Friday. ✈️🌎

I am sharing the first project from an upcoming collection today. This travel-themed piece combines maps, tickets, tags, and collected details — inspired by journals, keepsakes, and the idea of gathering memories along the way. It is one of those designs that lends itself to both cardmaking and memory-keeping.

The full "Collector" Essentials range from Craft Consortium Ltd will be launching in the UK on HobbyMaker, and you can watch live on:

Happy Thursday. 🦋💙

I am sharing a clean and simple card from my Pinterest archive today. This one has layers of peelables in the form of patterns and words. Even the butterfly is a foil peelable that I have coloured with markers, and I like how it adds movement and detail to the design.

Over time I have added more than 2.6k photos of my projects to my Pinterest board — there is a lot of cardmaking inspiration to explore there, especially if you enjoy browsing older makes and favourite brands.

Happy Wednesday!

I am sharing this oval card today. It opens out into an easel design. I enjoyed working with the vintage dressmaking images, especially the mannequin and the old typography. There is something nostalgic about these details, as if they have been gathered from an old sewing room or journal.

January always feels like a quieter, thoughtful month in the craft room. I am taking time to experiment, revisit older styles, and ease myself back into making. How about you? ❤️

❄️❄️❄️Happy Tuesday! ❄️❄️❄️

This little bird box frame is still one of my most-liked makes on Pinterest — created using the detailed Katy Sue Designs Crafts decoupage kits, which are available on their website.

The RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch runs from 23–25 January, so it is a great reminder to look out for our garden visitors — and keep the feeders topped up during this cold snap.

Happy Monday.

The decorations are down for Twelfth Night, but I keep a few candles and gentle white lights glowing through the winter. They bring a touch of warmth to these dark, cosy nights.

Keep safe and warm ❤️
