This is how the fishing community should be , I remember when I first started to fish locally. I would always ask different anglers what they were using , where they got bait and anything that I didn’t fully understand. I remember plenty of times being told to go away , I remember seeing a guy digging lugworm and I asked how is this done and was told to F Off.

this drove me more to learn every day and try to gather as much information as I could about the local beaches. Many hours I’ve spent learning to dig lugworm and source peeler, many of hours tailoring rigs to different conditions, location and species.
I love a challenge but a few pointers when I first started would have came in so handy.
This is why I’m happy to help anyone in anyway I can in the sport. Even if you think your question is daft my inbox is always open !

What a session
Lately I have been doing a bit of research on new local spots trying to track down a stinger, everything was perfect yesterday for them so I decided to give it a go.
I stopped in at Reel Deep to stock up before the journey. I’m very cautious about using others rigs as I know trust in the knots and components is key. But Ant the owner is a local angler packed full of knowledge and knows the beaches. He gave me some of the shops own rigs to try.
Great components great craftsmanship and they worked a treat.
Sending out worm baits tipped with various fish baits from FishFrenzy Bait Co. . the Tronixpro Naga made it super easy to hit the distance I needed.
It was nonstop fish from start to finish
2 sting ray 9 hounds 2 bass a very enjoyable session.
A little bit of research always pays of !

100% have my faith in these components

A last-minute trip to a local mark for Sam, heading down to Bognor Regis to fish the flood.

It was very quiet through the flood, but just as high water hit, Sam switched up his tactics and got the result he was after, hooking into a hound. A Tronixpro 2/0 Mutsu circle on a running up-and-over, loaded with C6 squid, did the business.

At 6lb 1oz it was nothing record-breaking, but still a lovely fish to see on a quiet night. 🦈

As Sam puts it, having 100% trust in your tackle and components is absolutely key, and Tronixpro components never let him down. 💯

With the w**d not being the best I decided to stay local and get back on the rays.
Fishing the building tide produced lots of straps, and dogfish.
As the tide turned the Tronixpro competition naga had a lovely slack liner producing my first undualte of the year weight 10lb 1oz.
Size 1 Loop rigs armed with FishFrenzy Bait Co. Peeler sticks wrapped in squid. 🦑
Was a decent session taking my species to 20 so far this year !
