As we ease back into back-to-school routines. I wanted to share one of my favourite memories from the summer — our family road trip to South-West France 🇫🇷
We drove 🚗 from home to Dover, took the ferry ⛴️ across to Calais and then road-tripped 🛣️ for 12+ hours through France to our Eurocamp 🌳
A long journey with 4 kids, but genuinely such a lovely way to travel — and there was something quite nostalgic ✨ about doing the kind of European road trips I grew up doing… but now with my own family.
We spent our days unplugged, exploring, enjoying being together and attempting to relax while parenting ☺️. One of my favourite things about this kind of holiday was the freedom the kids had to explore and the slower pace 🌱 of life for all of us.
Definitely one for the family memory bank. 🤍
The kids are growing so fast 🥺… 12 summers down with our eldest two (twins). I’m definitely not subscribing to the idea that we only get 18. I’m planning on many more.
