One thing I’ve noticed is that success can sometimes make people forget.
They forget the people who encouraged them when they were struggling.
They forget the sacrifices others made behind the scenes.
They forget the doors that were opened for them and the hands that helped them climb.
There is nothing wrong with celebrating your achievements but true success remembers its roots.
Because the moment we start acting as though we got here all by ourselves, we begin to lose something more valuable than success itself and that’s our gratitude.
Never forget the people who stood with you when the journey was difficult.
The higher you go, the more important it becomes to remember where you came from.
Success should never erase gratitude.
