Firstly - you guuuuuuys 🤗 some of the responses I got on this, made me ugly cry, so thank you for your submissions. I haven’t shared them all because I didn’t want this to look like I was just tooting my own horn (not that it doesn’t deserve to be tooted, HONK IT LOUD BABY) but thank you 🌸

FACTS

• I got my first tattoo at 14. Sadly, yes. I had £10, I asked what I could get for that, and he said “paw prints or a dolphin” I thought paw prints would be cuter, I asked for it on my thigh so I could hide it, and now here we are. The perils of being a teenager in Blackpool 😂

• Beautiful inside and out. Had to include one of the compliments, making me blushhhh. Me and my gallstones 🩻

• I am obsessed with matcha. *law and order intro noise* GUILTY 🚔

I will try and be more interesting next time I do this trend.

BONUS FACT - I collect Care Bears 🐻💗

June 2026, round up.

I am waiting with my “don’t you dare” mum face, for anyone who mentions how late this post is. A slipper is within reach.

First mention - works annual themed bbq. This year was A Day at the Races, and we work for the NHS, so naturally I decided to go as a clapped out, over worked and lame horse. As an allegory for what working in health care does to you, and a statement against horse racing. What a joyful delight I am. Did get in some decent boogying up town though afterwards, in my equine ears.

Second mention - Misty Pig. I retired the burgundy beast that was my 2004 Vauxhall Astra - Vincenzo, and upgraded to a cheeky silver number called Misty. It is very strange not having to rely on ritual to start your car.

Third mention - June is for all the cool dudes in my life. Father’s days, birthdays, they are all there. My Poppa, My Bonus Dad, and my grandads watching over me, happy Father’s Day and Happy Birthday to you all.

Right, I’ll get back to posting normally now, see you late next month 😂

Ya gal is feeling the burnout.

Imagine a heatwave hitting, the week of your mega period, whilst the saxophones get louder at your NHS job and just having so so much washing to put away… but you really only wanna rot and eat sweet potato fries ??? Universe, just let me be in my feminine PLEASE, I’m really quite tired 😴✨

How are we all coping with this heat? I have been relying mainly on hibernation and Turkish Delight ice cream ☀️🍦💗 🔥

Round up: Mayyyyy 2026 🧿🤍🌞

Ya gal went to Greece! My first time, exploring the Greek isles and living my best goddess life, with my loverrr. It is absolutely CRIMINAL that we spend more time at work than we do laid out on the beach and eating gyros. Crete was absolutely glorious, Efharisto Greece 🇬🇷

May is a super busy birthday month for my family, I don’t know what they all found so boring about August, and I celebrated that by having my nails done, TWICE 💅

My gorgeous gorgeous nail lady is off to have an even more gorgeous gorgeous baby, and I don’t trust anyone else, so although it broke our hearts to file down and remove 3 years of our hard work (mainly hers), it had to be done. She is pretty much family at this point, so I shall wait for our baby to get here, and I shall return 💖

Very ready for the sunshine to follow me home now ☀️

MARCH 2026 ROUND UP

Girlies. Let’s hold hands. March was heavy. Beautiful, and joyful at times, but heavy.

First of all, that’s honour Patricia, together 🤍 this month, we laid my lovely Nana to rest. What an incredibly emotional day. Half way through the funeral ceremony, we noticed a ladybird on my Uncle’s arm. She sat on my hand for prayers and hymns, before flying away when we left. I will forever be looking for her with the ladybirds 🐞

I also FINALLY got to see Greg Davies! I booked these tickets a lonnnnng time ago, and I managed to bag myself a front row seat! Before my best friend passed away, we promised we would stop flaking on plans and if Greg went on tour again, we would just go, no hesitation. So whilst he was incredibly funny, and being back in Newcastle was glorious, I’d have given anything to be there with you Clare 🌈

From Newcastle, I hopped on a train to Edinburgh to meet my man! My first time in Scotland. Immediately fell in love. Went to the with my love, got AutoWed and took pics in the shadow of Edinburgh castle. Food, drink, vibe, I loved it all.

Lots of posh people though (keep in mind I live in Blackpool, and I’d just come from Newcastle, I’m used to seeing barely dressed baddies with spray tans, chowing down on their cheesy garlic breads, but in Edinburgh, the girls wore floor length silk dresses, like formal dance ones, and got bottles of water and brown bread sandwiches from Co-Op at the end of their night… that’s money).

This months small win:
I had my first ever matcha at … life changing 🍵
